She pulled off her Dolce and Gabana shades as she entered the set to Ford Models training. She kissed the director on both cheeks before she asked for a cup of coffee and sat at a table with him, discussing the model she would be coaching. She sipped her coffee once it was brought to her, twisting a strand of long brown curly hair with her index finger.
"Here she is..." The director said, opening her portfolio Samantha Caron. Hm... interesting. Her hazel eyes looked at each page while she licked her thumb and flipped through them all. "Eh..." She said, a little amused, but this girl had potential. She flipped to the front of the cover of the book, nearly jumping into the air. "Yikes... twenty three?" She asked. "Yeah, so train her well or else her career will not be as bright. She'll be here soon." As he took the closed black book from her and flung it into a drawer.
Sitting with her ankles crossed and her purse sitting in her lap she eyed the digital clock sitting on his desk, waiting for this girl. It was a major honor to work with Giselle, she was a super model after all and if you were lucky to spend five minutes with her... then if you died, you would be content.

Samantha stepped out of car, being careful to not trip. In one hand she had her morning latte, and in the other, her patent leather clutch. She was told that she was going to have lessons from model, Giselle. Sam looked up to see a sign on the building in front of her that read Ford. She took a couple of steps until she was in front of the doors to the building, and took a deep breath. She slowly gripped her fingers around the handle and pulled open the door.
Inside she found her way to the elevator and pushed the ‘up’ button. While waiting she looked down at her patent leather black heels and twiddled her fingers. She wore a dress similar to Lindsay Lohan’s court dress, and her makeup was kept simple. Her blonde hair was tied up in a ponytail, to show off her neck. When the elevator arrived she stepped in and watched the doors closed in front of her.
When the elevator rang again she was on the fourth floor, moments away from the biggest moment in her career. (So far). Samantha ambled through the hallway, eyeing pictures of super models hanging on the walls. When she reached the end of the hall way she read the room number, 103. ”No turning back,” she told herself and she push open the door and stepped in.
She saw a man and a woman sitting at a table, who she presumed was director, and of course Giselle. ”Hello,” she tried to say in a confident voice, which was hard with all of her nerves. It was an honor to work with Giselle, and she had read about her in magazines, and seen her on TV a few times. She told herself to not mess it up and hundred times, hoping it would all work out.

"Hello Sam." Giselle spoke, taking her purse off of her lap and placing it on the ground and setting the coffee on the table so she could stand up and give her a hug. "My name is Giselle Carter and I am the youngest super model Ford model has signed with. This is the owner Paul McShay." She introduced as the director stood up and shook her hand before offering her a seat.
He got the portfolio out again and placed it on the glass table as he flipped through the pictures. "You're really beautiful and you have this amazing bone structure and you have a gorgeous body to top it off, but theres something going on in between that we are going to work on. First off, no smoking. Models dont smoke and the affect of smoking shows in your images." Giselle flipped quickly through other pictures, trying to find one she really liked. It was on one her, wearing a white t-shirt and denim shorts looking natural.
"Looking at this, you are a natural and more free flowing girl. We have to work on high editorial magazines because if you want to be a successful model, you cannot just base your career off of natural shots. Your resume says that you have never done runway. We will practice a lot of runway as that is one of my favorites." She laughed, pushing the book towards her. "Choose one photo that you love to death and the rest... are trash. You are a model in training. So bye bye to those old pictures." She said, picking up her coffee again, taking a sip.

Samantha felt Giselle’s friendly hug as she greeted her. ”Hello,” she greeted to Paul Mcshay and nodded her head a bit. She felt her eyes pop out of her head when she said ‘youngest super model’. She was only nineteen, as Sam was twenty two and a half. Youngest supermodel was off her list. Sam gripped Paul’s hand as he shook it before letting go. “A strong handshake was a good way to start off,” she decided.
Sam felt herself bush as he completed her and a smile grew on her lightly-tanned face. As he continued and said ‘’no smoking” she almost fainted. It wasn’t like she could just stop, but if she wanted to be a model she had to do as was told. ”Will do,” she said to the smoking bit. She wasn’t about to say she had a pack in her clutch, so she kept that to herself. No one had to know, right? After all was she going to throw it out after this meeting.
She grabbed the portfolio from Giselle, as she could only take one picture. Only one. Giselle seemed to like the one of her when she was a brunet, in a white shirt and cuffed denim shorts. It was nice, but Sam liked her headshot picture. Her green eyes smized, as Tyra would say, and it was simply nice. ”I suppose I will go with thie one,” Sa said as she turned the book toward then and pointed to the picture. Sam grabbed her latte and took a strong sip, knowing she would need another.
If they hated her smoking, what would they say about her tattoos? She had one on each arm, simple encouraging words. “Whatever it takes,” she told herself. ”Runway sounds great,” Sam piped with a slight smile. She was happy to be here, but her nervous came over her.

Sam nodded to the smoking bit and Giselle smiled, this girl seemed to want to get to the top and she wasnt going to stop at just head shots. "I love that picture! Tyra taught me how to smize you know, we could have her come sometime if you like." She offered as she took the picture out of the portfolio and handed it to Sam. "Rock the world like you own it." She said, giving her a few helpful words as she tossed the portfolio in the trashcan.
Paul stood up and ushered the two ladies into the set room with a hair and makeup artist already there. "Hair and makeup now." She said pointing to the two for Sam. She ordered the makeup artist to make her high fashion with cat eyes and bright colorful eyes and big bold lip stick while she told the hair styler that she wanted a swept up do with blonde extensions for the bad ass look. "See you in a bit babycakes." She smiled as she left Sam to get her makeup and hair done.

Sam’s eyes widened as Giselle said she knew Tyra. She should of course, as she was the youngest supermodel with Ford, so it shouldn’t of been a surprise to Samantha. ”That would be great,” Sam said trying to act poise. Thanks, I’ll try,” Sam said to the encouraging words from Giselle. Sam thought she would be tough, and arrogant, but she was sweet and fun. She took the photo and placed it in her clutch as she watched her portfolio drop into the trash.
Sam walked with Paul and Giselle to the set room, getting butterflies in her stomach, as if she didn’t have enough in there already. She sat in the black seat, ready to get a makeover. All Sammy knew was that she was going to get fierce, Sasha Fierce. Bad ass, she could do that. ”Bye!” Sam said as she waved to Giselle. She had no idea where she could be going, but she supposed she would find out sooner or later.
The makeup artist began to clear off all of Sam’s existing makeup to start fresh. Slowly she began to put foundation on her, and blush. She made her way to Sam’s eyes and put on think eyeliner, cat eye style. She felt the brush strokes as the lady put on eye shadow and thick layers of mascara. The other lady began with her hair, which felt nice. She was ready for anything.

Giselle re-appeared when Sam was finished. "You look so hot!" Giselle squealed, showing Sam in the mirror. "Now... before we begin, I want you to smize for me. Smize... like Tyra." She said, if smizing was a speciality than they had to perfect it till no one could compare to her. Even though she couldnt really base herself off of that one look it was good to aim for perfection at something.
Giselles crouched down next to her in the chair and smized next to her in the mirror. "See how natural I am making it... no furrowed eyebrows no harsh forehead lines, not saying you have them... dont make them though." She laughed as she smized next to her in the mirror.

Giselle scared Sam a bit, as she didn’t see her coming. ”Thanks,” Samantha giggled. She faced herself in the mirror, as if she was looking at a brand new person. The makeup looked really cool, and she was excited to get to the photo shoot. Sam stared into the mirror and watched as Giselle crouched next to her.
Sam began to smize, a glimmer to her eye, as she squinted ever so slightly. She nodded to Giselle’s comment around eyebrows and lines, as she tried to make her smize natural. "How is it?" she asked the super model next to her. It looks pretty good, so she thought. She waited for Giselle to tear it apart, as it simply couldn’t be perfect.

Giselle liked her smize and she saw her face relax as she gave her some critique. "I like it but why dont you ask... Tyra!" Just then, Tyra Banks appeared from behind the mirror. She screamed surprise and gave Giselle a hug before bending down and giving Sam a hug. "Now Sam... you have to do exactly as Giselle says, I contributed some of my teachings myself to her. She is a good friend of mine and I really hope you learn a lot from her." Trya flipped her hair.
"Now, about that smize of yours, eyes relaxed not one up and the other down... make your eyes bigger and lift the chin." She said as she tilted her chin upward slightly. Giselle smiled at Sam as Tyra helped her work on many things. Giselle loved what she was doing and she really was grateful that she had the opportunity to help other models become just as famous as her.

Samantha felt as if she died and went to heaven. She screamed like any girl of America’s Next Top Model, but tried to hold back her tears so she didn’t ruin the makeup. She cupped her hand around her mouth, and her eyes widened. Sam hugged Tyra, still in shock. ”Yes Tyra,” Sam said, surprised she could talk after being star struck.
She tilted her chin up and tried to make her eyes wider. ”Better?” she asked. ”Thank you so much Giselle!” said, as she really made her day. Sam had auditioned on Top Model in the past but never made it. This was much better. She relaxed her eyes as she looked at herself in the mirror. She still didn’t get how Tyra was on one side of her and Giselle on the other.

"Anytime girl!" She said, "Well it is time for Tyra to go because she has a very busy schedeuele. And you Missy have a lot of work to get done." She hugged Tyra good bye as Tyra blew Sam a kiss before waving good bye and leaving the set.
"Now that; that's over, we can get back to work. Up you go!" She said as she shooed Sam onto the set and had the assistant turn on the fan. "Now, I want natural and then high fashion." She said as she clapped her hands and took a step back, watching Sam. "Dont be afraid okay, its just me. Just work what you got." She cued for some music and it came blasting on the speakers.

Sam waved goodbye to Tyra and blew her a kiss back. She followed Giselle’s instruction and stood up from the black leather chair and headed to the set. The wind blew, making her want to cry. She pushed against it, and followed Trya’s tips to smizing and tilted her chin up a bit, relaxed her eyes, and did what she did.
She presumed the first ‘natural’ shot would be a head short, thought she lifted her hands over her head and set her forearm on top of her head and changed her facial expression a bit. Fashion was all about taking risks, and just being with Giselle was one.

Giselle watched Sam up there as the photographer snapped pictures of her with the fan blowing. "Sam, I dont know about you but, I dont do that when I am relaxing. Hand down, use your face. Dont smize, use your face to tell me something." Giselle said as she ordered for a chair as she sat in it, resting her chin in her hand as she watched Sam.
She had the serious potential but she needed a lot of work to be done. At 23 she was surprised that Paul had let her into the training agency. But even being trained, that didnt mean you would get in. Right now Giselle was completely sure that if she wasnt trained and auditioned she'd be sliced to shreds, so it was her job to make that the impossible and make the judges worship. "Come on Sam, work it girl!" She said as she cheered for her, the girl really knew how to have fun on camera. Another idea popped into her head, was she good on television, that was a good boost to popularity if people saw you on T.V. Hell, Giselle had starred in movies.

”No,” Sam sighed. She dropped her hands down and stopped smizing. Instead she got natural, and imagined herself on the hot beach, relaxed, like no one else was there. It helped and Sam began to loosen up.
Sam needed to work twice as hard because of her age if she wanted to get anywhere in this industry. If Paul saw positional, then she needed to show she had it. She changed up her face more, but kept it natural and interesting. She listened to Giselle cheer like a cheerleader off to the side, which helped Sam’s self esteem. The wind kept blowing while she kept modeling. She had to prove herself

Alright there we go... Giselle thought as she watched Sam become more relaxed in her facial expressions and her eyes stopped smizing. This was the tricky part. Her guards were down because she wasnt using her strong points and she needed to work on her weaknesses.
Giselled clicked her tongue, it wasnt as good as she thought in this area. "Here I come." Giselle said as she climbed up onto the stage with her. "Challenge numero uno... try to upstage me. Me, wearing barely any makeup and clothes balled up in the back of my closet. You ready?" She asked. This was the fun and friendly part. Giselle liked friendly and helpful competition and she liked to laugh about it with others with her light hearted character.
