Maddee's eyes were closed, back laying on her towel. She was wearing her favorite yellow swim suit, with ruffles in the front. She was wearing a pair of aviators, and her long, brown hair was in her natural beach-curly look. She wore no make up on her face, she didn't want to risk the chance of a tan line. Not like she wore much make up in the first place.
As she laid there, covered in oil soaking up the sun, she looked at her phone to see the time. It was 2 O'clock, almost lunch time. She sighed and put in her Itouch, listening to The Cave by Mumford and Sons. She looked around at all the kids playing in the water and building sand castles. She looked around for anybody who seemed some what interested in talking to her. Living in a new city was hard, but having all sun all the time was better than snow. She closed her eyes tighter and sighed.

Aaron stood in the aqua water; his feet sunk in the sand. He dove underneath the water and quickly came up, but at the same time a wave hit him, causing his head to go back under. When he came up once again her took a deep breath, recovering from having no oxygen for a couple of moments. Underwater his hand was gripped around his aviators, which he placed on the top of his slick, wet hair.
He returned to shore, catching a wave for a ride. His damp feet caught the attention of the dry sand, as it attached to his feet. He returned to wear he placed his towel and bag, which was spread out. He laid down on his towel, letting the sun’s rays dry him. Next to him was a girl in a yellow bikini tanning. She was pretty, and looked a couple of years younger than he. He didn’t want to disturb her peace, though the chirps of the beat him to it, and greeted her. ”Hey,” he said with a grin. She came alone, like him, and he needed someone to talk to.

Maddee looked over at the boy who was attempting small talk with her, she got up on her elbows, and smiled at him, looking him up and down. She took out her headphones and covered her hand with her eyes to get a better view of his face. "Hey, I'm Maddee." she wiped her oily hand on her towel, and stuck it out for him to grab.
The boy looked cute, maybe a bit older than Maddee, but she didn't mind. His hair was perfect to Maddee. The short yet long on top. She loved playing with it. She pursed her lips as she thought.

Aaron looked at her hand, much like Meeko did to John Smith in the Disney movie Pocahontas. He stuck his hand out and gripped her smooth hand with a bit of oil from her lotion on it. His handshake was firm, yet friendly at the same time. ”I’m Aaron,” he gushed, since he forgot to tell Maddee.
He looked above for a second to take a look at the cloudless Skye, and then focused on Maddee. Aaron was still trying to get Roxi, if she would ever commit, but Maddee seemed like a nice girl. A good friend perhaps. ”Are you from Los Angelos?” he asked causally.

Maddee looked out at the ocean. "Yeah, recently moved." she sighed a bit, missing Wisconsin. But who was she kidding? Maddee adored L.A. actually, she beyond loved it. She looked at him again "What about you? Have you lived here a while?" she asked taking a sip of water, she was beginning to get light headed, a sign that she needed to cool off. She took a little of her water and put it in her hands, spreading it around her face. Maddee couldn't help but wonder how old the boy was, she was a curious girl. "How old are you?" she blurted out, not thinking about what she was saying.

”I’m not from here either,” he said with a smile plastered on his olive skinned face. ”I’m from Chicago. I wanted to get as far away as I could from my parents,” he sighed. In all truth he did miss them, but on the other hand it was nice to be away from them. He watched as she dumped the water on his face. He still had some of the ocean water on his body; as the sun hadn’t dried it all off yet. He chuckled a bit when she blurted her next question. ”I’m twenty two, I recently turned twenty two actually. Let me guess, you’re secretly fifty years old but you’re disguised as a young adult?” he questioned, in a jokingly way of course.

Maddee looked at Aaron and smiled a bit "Small world, i'm from Wisconsin." She nodded her head in agreement to his statement. "I was the same way with my parents." She bit her lip a bit as she thought of her parents. Of course she missed them, but it was time to be a big girl and live her own life.
Maddee giggled a bit at his response. "Are you secretly stalking me?" she asked raising her eyebrow at him. "Kidding, i'm not even close to Fifty years old. I'm actually Eighteen, about to turn Nineteen." she hated how young she was compared to everyone else, but it was something she could live with. Better than lying about it.

Aaron laughed at her response to his fifty year old joke. She was only three years younger, that wasn’t that bad. Also, she looked older than she was, not fifty, but twenty one. ”Was there good cheese?’ he asked, responding to her statement about Wisconsin. He always thought everyone in Wisconsin was a farmer, which was very stereotypical of him. He put some sunscreen on his shoulders, making sure they didn’t burn. He never knew with the sun, one day it was his friend, the other his enemy.

Maddee looked at him with his question. "Well, I didn't live on the farm side of Wisconsin, but my grandparents did. They made some mean cheese." she teased him and began to fan herself off. She looked at him and then at the water. "I'm going to go cool off a bit, would you like to join me?" she asked, already on her feet with her hair tied up in a messy bun, but kept her aviators on, her hand was out for him to get help up.

He gripped her hand, forcing her to help pull him up. He was actually lazy, but he did want to go back in for another swim. ”Mean cheese, is there such thing?” he asked, but it was hard to hear him when he was laughing so hard.
He began to run to the water, not waiting for Maddee. It was a race, to him, and soon he was in the aqua water. His feet sunk in the sand, which caused him to run slower, but he still beat her. After all, he did have a head start. He kept running to the water until it as to his waist. There he waited for her to catch up with him.

Maddee ran after Aaron, she hesitated to step into the water as it slowly began to cover her feet. It was cold, but it cooled her off and felt good. She smiled, and held her arms up close to her chest, resting her hand on her fist. She looked at Aaron, already waist deep while Maddee was getting used to the water. She finally made her way where Aaron was, and stood across from him, placing her hands in the water. She splashed some up at her chest, and then splashed him a little. "What about Illinois? Anything cool there?" She asked curiously.

Aaron desperately wanted to pick her up by the waist and spin her around, yet he couldn’t. He had some things to sort out with Roxi, to see if they were together or not. He dove under the incoming wave, and did the dolphin dive as he called it. He popped back up and splashed her, trying to help her get use to water. ”Sorry, spasm,” he smirked. ”Well, there’s good pizza, much better than New York pizza, and lots of tourists,” he said, remembering his hometown. There was the American Girl Store which attracted tourists and so did some other touristy things.

Maddee looked at him and did the typical girl squeal when he splashed her. She giggled a bit, "Likely story." she gave him a smirk back and splashed herself again. She took her hair out of her bun, and shook it out. She dove under the water and came back up, slicking her hair back, and holding onto her aviators. She rubbed the water out of her eyes, and looked at him. "I went there when I was like, five." she tried to remember, "The pizza was good, and I remember that big American Girl Store with 3 levels." she smiled "My mom dropped like 200 dollars on me there, I was in heaven." She chuckled lightly.

”Oh, I see you suffer from random spasms as well,” he teased when she splashed him back. He really liked this girl, though he only had known her for a couple of minutes. They seemed to have good chemistry together, which he liked. ”Oh, yes, it’s just fabu!” he joked in a high-gay like voice. He dove back under and grabbed her ankle, pulling her under. He really wanted to kiss her, oh how he did. When he let her go and they came back up to surface he pulled her close and gave her a kiss on the lips. ”I don’t know what came over me!” he blurted, feeling himself start to blush.

Maddee laughed at him as he did his pseudo gay voice. Aaron was funny, Maddee could see herself with him. She watched him go under and smiled "Aaron don't you dare!" Maddee screamed as he grabbed her ankle, her scream was suddenly silenced as the ocean water filled her mouth. She arose back up to the surface and smiled, laughing hysterically. Then it happened. He kissed her. As his lips met hers, so many feelings rushed over her. She was happy. When he kissed her, it felt right. She smiled as he sat there blushing, she threw her arms around his neck and kissed him back. She let go and looked at him. "Sorry." she blurted, "I couldn't help myself." she smiled and looked down at the water then back at him. Did this really just happen? She felt like the luckiest girl in the world.
