It was a warm day in L.A. out in the country side and the sky was bright blue and their were whisps of clouds in the sky. Tyson and Giselle were driving down the dirt path to a well known stable that was known for their horses. "Let me see the map." She said snatching the map from him. "Okay, okay, you are right." Giselle said as she handed him back the map.
"I'm so excited! We are going to get horses!" Giselle squealed as Tyson pulled into the parking lot. A man wearing a trucker hat and flannel shirt dusted his hands on his overalls before approaching the couple. "Interested in horses are you?" He asked. Giselle nodded her head slowly. "Yes, I am looking for a specific type of breed. Tennessee Walker?" The farmer smiled and nodded his head. "And?" He asked her. "Gelding, around 16 hands." The man smiled and clapped his hands. "I have just the horse for you. You shall be having Aristotle..." Giselle was giddy and was extremely excited to see Aristotle.
"And for you young man?" He asked Tyson as he dusted his hands off again before outstretching it to him. "You have a very pretty girlfriend, unless she is your sister..." He laughed as he gripped Tysons hand firmly before letting his grip go and patting Tyson on the shoulder. Giselle smiled at the two guys getting along and she wandered around the side of the stable to see the horses and their plaques swinging above their stalls. She spotted Aristotle and she approached him slowly.
Aristotle was massive, maybe 16.5 hands tall. His coat was bay and his mane and tail were a sleek black. His fetlock furs were white with a tint of brown. He was gorgeous to Giselle as she reached out to touch his nose before ruffling his forelock which was straight and black and hung in his brown eyes. His facial marking were rare as he had a star, stripe and snip that came down on the left side of his nose. "Hello Aristotle..." She whispered.

Tyson was in a really good mood today, and it wasn't just because him and Giselle had decided to purchase themselves a couple horses. The wedding was just around the corner and almost all of the arrangements had been made. All that was left was for the last minute things to be done and everything would be set. As he pulled the truck and horse trailer they had rented to use to transport their new horses into the driveway, he stopped it and shut off the engine before climbing out of the cab and following Giselle over to meet the farmer who came walking towards them.
Tyson smiled as he extended his hand out to the man. Giselle spoke to him first as she explained what kind of horse she was hoping to get and he told her the name of the horse he had in mind for her. A smile was on his face the whole time as he watched the excited look grown in her eyes. His light blue gaze turned back to the farmer when he asked him what kind of horse he was looking for. A thoughful look spread across his face as he thought about it and watched as Giselle headed into the barn already, leaving the two men to talk.
"Well growing up I had a couple paints and I would love to get another one. Gelding would probably be the best though." Tyson explained as he remembered riding the paint pony he had had as a young kid in the local rodeos and then eventually when he outgrew it he got a dirt bike instead but always rode the horses that his neighbor had. That was his reward for helping take care of them.
The farmer nodded and a smile crossed the older man's face as he already had a horse in mind.
"Follow me, I think Leo will be a good match for you." he answered as he led him into the barn. Giselle was already inside and she was standing outside the stall of a big black Tennessee Walker's stall. The name plate read Aristotle and Tyson smiled as he saw her softly talking to the gelding as she stroked his nose.
The farmer grinned at Giselle and left her alone for a moment with the horse before heading down the aisle a little bit to where a big black and white paint gelding was standing in his stall. Tyson followed the man and smiled at the handsome looking horse that raised his head and pricked his ears at his approach.
"This here is Leo." the man said before taking a step back so Tyson to step towards the horse. Putting his hand out he let the gelding sniff him before he patted the horse's neck. After a moment of getting acquainted with Leo, Tyson turned to look over at Giselle.
"So what do you think, babe?" he called to her, a smile on his face as Leo thrust his over the stall door and nudged his shoulder.

She talked to Aristotle and she pet his nose over and over before stroking his neck, smoothing his hair out. Tyson called her over to see his horse. "He's so handsome, like you." She joked as she nudged him in his arm with her elbow. "So, I think we are taking these two." Giselle smiled at the farmer. "Okay, want to go for a test ride?" He chuckled making it sound like they were riding cars. "Mhm..." Giselle smiled.
She shuffled off in the other direction to get the halter and lead rope, opening the door to the stall. She hung the lead rope over the horses neck as she latched the halter on. Then she opened the door to the stall and led Aristotle out and over to where the saddles, blankets, halter and reins were. Slowly she tied the rope to the pole and went to collect the saddle and blankets.
The farmer spat on the ground and clapped his hands. "You sure are lucky boy, I have never seen a woman handle a creature so gently and so calmly. She probably has the horse whisperer trait in her." He spoke quietly so Giselle would not hear.
Before putting the blankets on she grabbed a metal comb and began to brush Aristotle's hair straight down till it was shining and nice and smooth. Then she made sure the blankets matched up to Aristotle's middle of his shoulder as she hoisted the saddle up and made sure that the front and back cinch were tight and she pulled the latigo through. "All done." She smiled, kissing Aristotle on the cheek.

Tyson smiled and nodded to the farmer as he watched her saddle up her soon to be horse. When she was finished and was standing by Aristotle's head, holding his reins, Tyson led Leo out of his stall and did the same thing. When they were both ready they led the two geldings outside before turning back to the farmer.
"Where would you like us to ride at?" he asked wondering if there were trails or an arena or something.

Tyson followed suit after Giselle and the farmer nodded his head at Tyson. "I've got 8 acres of land to roam." As she tipped his trucker hat at Giselle. Giselle smiled back and clicked her heels into the side of Aristotle and he immediately jumped to life and began to walk out of the stable.
It was bright outside as Giselle roamed around before jumping over a log fence and entering the farm land. Aristotle grazed the land and Giselle had to keep snapping his head up because horses werent allowed to eat when they were riding. Giselle looked around for Tyson. "Wanna race?" She asked him as she gave him a playful wink. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the farmer watching them intently, before he spat on the dirt ground.

Tyson nudged Leo forward and together they went out onto the big open pasture that the farmer had gestured to. It was relaxing and nice to be on a horse again and Tyson chuckled softly when Giselle asked to race. He glanced over his shoulder at the farmer before turning back to Giselle.
"I think we should save that for when we get these guys back to our place." he replied, giving her a wink.

Tyson didnt agree to racing which made curiosity rise to the edge for Giselle. "You scared?" She asked as she circled Tyson on Aristotle. "You should see yourself right now. You are grinning ear to ear. I dont think I am ever going to see you smile so big." Before she stopped circling Tyson and began to walk off in the other direction to the farmer. "He's perfect, smooth and very friendly." Giselle said to the farmer. "So Im sure you want to know what the cost is right?" He asked.
Giselle shook her head before looking at Tyson and then back to the farmer. "I do, but lets keep this a secret for Tyson, I am buying this as our pre-wedding gift." She said as she blew a strand of brown hair out of her hazel eyes. "You're married to him?" He asked. Giselle nodded her head. "Sure am, and it's only been a dream of his for a long time to have a horse. And well... I want to make him happy." As she dismounted and tied Aristotle to the pole before following the farmer.
The farmer took her to his small office space where she signed the papers and the other papers to sign that their horses had legal names. Then he came to the grand total. "$32,000.00" He said as he handed her the check and Giselle signed her name and the sum of money. "Mind if I ask your name?" And Giselle smiled, "Giselle... Giselle Carter." And the farmer looked stunned, maybe farmers knew who models were.
After signing the documents she went back to get Aris as she now called him and unsaddled him as she pushed him into the horse trailer and made a daisy chain on the railing to keep him secured. "Be prepared for a fun life..." She smiled as she rested her head on his neck as she stroked his cheek. Tyson was still outside riding and Giselle approached the fence as she leaned against it, watching him ride Leo. "Happy almost wedding, he's all yours..." She smiled as she knew that this was just the foundation of the others gifts she had bought to spoil him.

When Giselle went back to talk to the farmer once more, Tyson put Leo through his paces. He walked him in a large circle and then made him trot before making him loping around. He stopped him and backed him up and was very pleased that the horse was so well trained. He guessed the gelding probably had some training with cutting cattle by the way he moved and could stop on a dime.
Tyson rode Leo over to Giselle and tied the gelding up next to Aristotle before dismounting and patting the black and white paint's shoulder. Leo neighed softly as he turned his head a bit to look at Tyson. Tyson turned to Giselle as she said the horse was his and she had got it for him as a wedding present. His light blue eyes shifted from the horse to her with a surprised look on her face.
"You didn't have to buy him for me, I could have afforded him. I'm the guy, I'm the one that is suppose to buy you presents." he answered but wrapped her up in his arms for a moment.

Tyson wrapped her up in his arms saying that he was supposed to buy her gifts since he was the male. "You are my greatest gift." As she hugged him and looked over at their two horses. They looked so content and they were staring at them.
Giselle then burried her nose in his shirt. "I love the smell of horse hair and your cologne mixed." As she inhaled his scent again. "Okay well then, we are done here I guess unless... you want to go look at the tack equipment?" As she wrapped her arms tighter around his waist.

Tyson hugged her to him as she buried her face in his shirt before looking up at him. She asked him if he wanted to go check out the equipment but he had looked it over quickly when they had saddled the horses so he shook his head.
"Nah, I just wanna get these guys and my girl home." he replied as he untacked Leo and then tossed his equipment in the bed of the truck. Tyson approached Leo once more and grabbed his lead rope before leading the black and white gelding up the ramp and into the trailer and then tying him to the ring so he wouldn't move around a lot.

"Okay, sounds good!" She said cheerily as she walked over to the farmer and gave him a hug, a trait that Giselle was definitely a hugger and thanked the farmer. "Thank you so much. I will definitely come down here sometime to let you know about the horses or to talk..." As she waved good bye and met Tyson by the horse trailer.
She helped him shut the door and she slid the bar over to secure the door. "Happy pre-wedding, I love you." As she gave him a quick peck on the lips as she then opened the truck door and climbed in, not buckling up her seat belt. "You ready to go?" She asked Tyson as she looked at herself in the mirror, using her thumb to wipe a smear of where her black eyeliner had fallen.

Tyson smiled and waved to the farmer as they both climbed into the truck. He kissed her back and then put his seat belt on before starting the engine. The truck roared into life and Tyson put it in gear before pulling out of the driveway and heading back to their home, a smile on his face the whole way there.

They pulled into the driveway to her mansion and Giselle smiled knowing the fact that it was no longer just her estate but it was their estate and she liked the fact that she had something to share with him other than just her love. "You just keep getting better and better." As she opened the car door and climbed out as she slid the bar that locked the horse carrier to the side before she grabbed Leo and untied him handing him to Tyson as she took Aris.
"Well, I am glad you like Leo." She smiled as she led Aris into the stall and let him loose, letting him get used to his new roomie and his new space that he would live in from now on. Once Aris was in there she grabbed a hay bale and hoisted it onto a wooden table and took out the pocket knife in her back pocket as she cut the strings that kept the flakes together. "I think he really likes you." As she acknowledged Tyson and Leo smiling and talking.
