How could she forget about dinner? Wouldn’t she still be full? Aaron decided not to ask, but to let it be. He focused on the T.V, as Anne Hathaway walked down the red carpet with Valentino. He thought it was funny that celebrities wore red on a red carpet. He didn’t understand fashion, but didn’t a red dress on a red carpet clash?
Maddee’s next question caught his attention. ”Wha-, “ he began but didn’t finish the whole word. ”I’m fine, why?” he asked, straightening up. Aaron hated it when people asked if he was fine, but then again he could see why. The question just always made him cross. Maddee could probably tell he was thinking about Roxi, but when he was with Roxi he was thinking about Maddee; it never made sense. Maddee was tilting her head, so she seemed concerned. From his experience, it was never a good thing.

She looked at him while he replied and sighed "I know nothings wrong, I can read people like a book." She really could. It was a gift and a curse, really. She hated knowing when someone was hurting or confused, but it helped dealing with liars. She didnt want to seem to nosey, she just wanted to know what was wrong with Aaron.

”Well if you know nothing is wrong, then why do you ask?” he questioned. He didn’t understand when people asked questions they knew the answer to, unless it was to make small talk or something. ”Do you think I’m lying?” he asked, raising his eyebrows, and causing his forehead to wrinkle. He took a long sip of the water she gave him, which was refreshing. Aaron stretched his arms, as he waited for her to reply. He really needed something to focus on besides girls. He had his auto stuff, but that was different, and not really a hobby. He liked it and stuff, but it was more of a job. Maybe he should join a trainers club, which would lead to girls. All of his options led to girls.

Maddee shook her head and frowned "I meant i could tell something was wrong." she blushed a bit, feeling a tad bit stupid. She then looked up at him a serious look on her face, "Do you ever at all feel like i'm too..immature for you?" she remembered the newest post that GG had posted, saying how she was immature. She was young, yes, but not immature. Or atleast she thought. She moved out of the house at the age of 18 3 time zones away from her real home, she had to grow up. Plus, Maddee never was one who was immature.

”Oh,” was all that popped out of Aaron’s mouth. Then that would change his answer. He was often now called a player, which didn’t suit his fancy. He didn’t mean to be a player, but he met so many sweet girls, and he liked them. Her words, which formed a question, startled him. ”I wouldn’t put it that way. I haven’t known you too long, so my answer isn’t going to be that good,” he paused to take a sip of water. ”Don’t get offended, but you seem to be very curious, and perhaps blunt,” he blushed. He hated pointing out flaws directly to the person in front of him. Age was but a number, but it also measured maturity.
He leaned back and began to focus on the Golden Globes once more. He didn’t understand why it was called the Golden Globes and the Oscars, but did it matter? He got that the statue was called an Oscar, but then why was it called the Golden Globes as well? Aaron returned his focus to Maddee, as the show was boring.

Maddee looked at the screen once more as he spoke. She bit her bottom lip a bit and shrugged "Yeah, I guess that's just my personality." she pursed her lips and looked at the screen again, still sitting up straight. She sipped on her water once more and sighed. Damn. Was she really that immature? She thought she wasn't that bad, but I guess she was. Apart of her felt a little bit sad, but then again she liked when people told her what they thought about her. All that was running through Maddee's head was: Quit being so curious, and don't be so blunt.

Aaron could feel the awkwardness in the room. ”I mean, don’t change who you are. It’s just an opinion,” he sighed. He would have said “don’t take it personally,” but he knew she would. Actually everyone he knew would take it personally, not just her. ”Yah know, I think I better go,” he said, standing up. He always walked away when he didn’t want to face something. It was a fact of life, but he needed to change it. He straightened up, and fixed his shirt. When he left, he needed to walk out with dignity.

Maddee looked at him confused, she got up and grabbed his hand "Wait.." she turned him around and placed her hands on his face, she kissed him and then parted from him "Please, don't go." she kissed him again, with more passion this time. She moved her hands from his face to the back of his neck. She parted again and looked at him "Please?" she looked up into his eyes and waited for a reply.

Aaron felt her grip around his forearm. As she kissed him, he didn’t kiss her back. He really liked her, but he needed space from both her, and Roxi. ”I think it would be the best. I hope you had fun,” he said succinctly. He had a fun time with the both of them, and his decision was not being helped by Gossip Girl. She had even made a pole about him, which could possibly help. ”Give me a single reason,” he whispered. He really need room to breathe, and Maddee seemed a little desperate.

Maddee looked around and then up at him. "I dont..." she struggled to find the words to say, her heart began to beat faster and her breathing became strange, she took a step back and then looked at him "I dont want to ruin my chances of being with you. I know there's another girl, and actress at that, and I don't want this date to end. I had such a great time, it would be a shame if it ended." she bit her bottom lip and looked at him with a sort of concerned look on her face. She really didnt want to lose Aaron, she felt as though they had just begun something that could grow into something more.

”Look,” Aaron sighed. It would be difficult to say, yet it needed to be said. ”You’re really fine, funny, and you’re yourself,” he paused, to let her take it all in. ”But…I don’t think you’re for me. I had a great time tonight, but I’m not the guy for you. I have…someone else,” he whispered the last past, and his eyes couldn’t meet hers. She was very nice, and pretty, but he had something with Roxi. He met Roxi first, and was with her first. All’s fair in love and war. He wanted Maddee for find the right guy, ‘tis, not him. He needed to call Roxi to meet his as soon as possible to tell her. That is, if she would agree to it. Roxi. Roxi was always on his mind; it was simply a sign.

Maddees stomach dropped when he said look. That was never a good sign, she knew it. Maddee looked up at him, down at her feet, then back at him. She didnt know what to say, she didn't know what to feel. She looked around and then at him, she almost wanted to cry, but she couldn't in front of him. She pointed towards her room "Take off my clothes, leave them on my bed." her voice shook as she talk, and she spoke quietly. She closed her eyes as she pointed towards the room, and a simple tear rolled down her cheek she wiped it away and waited as he got his things. when he came back, she had his flowers in her hands, she pushed them in his arms. "These should probably go to someone you care about." She couldn't help herself, she was crying. Not the full on sobs, but those small tears that rolled down her cheeks. What else was she supposed to do? He practically broke her heart, any girl would react the same way. She looked at him and waited for him to say one last thing.

Aaron felt like he had torn out her heart and did the Mexican hat dance on top of it. He tried to say it as politely as possible, but he supposed it wasn’t good enough. He wanted to hug her, but instead her retraced his footsteps back to her bedroom. One by one he slipped off the clothes and replaced them with his old ones. He neatly folded them on her crème duvet and patted it gently as he left the room. He felt awful, but there was nothing he could do now. Besides, he wanted Roxi. She was crying out there, and it was his fault. He really didn’t mean for it to happen, but it did. When he came back, she had more streaks of tears on her face, and some of her mascara had combined into the salty tears. Maddee had shoved the bouquet of flowers he had given her back to him, and he watched as some of the flowers broke off and fell to the floor. ”I-I’m sorry. You’re a fantastic girl, and I hope you find someone,” his voice quivered, not because he was sad, but because he was sad for her. It made him look, and feel, like a douche. He walked to the door, opened it, and left.

When he said sorry, Maddee became furious. She rolled her eyes "You knew you were going to hurt me all along. Sorry my ass." she knew that he would've done was hurt her, even though he said he wouldn't, she knew he was lying. Lesson of the week; stay away from L.A. boys,
ooc: this board is done.
