Logan planned on spending the day on the beach on a warm sunny California day. It was usually always nice in LA. But, today was a good day to go to the beach and have some much. He always enjoyed coming here and relaxing. It gave him a place to think. Logan loved to dip his toes in the wet sand. He couldn't help to smile at such a happy place like the beach.
Logan got out of his car. He grabbed his towel, thing to make a sand castle, and a lawn chair. He strolled on the beach finding the perfect spot to camp out at. It was were there wasnt very many people in the spot he chose. Logan un-folded the lawn chair then sat in it. He ran his fingers through his dry brown hair that had gotten messed up by the slight breeze that passed by. He wore red A&F swim trunks. Logan smiled slightly before getting his tan on.

Alexandria lay on a beach towel, as her body absorbed the sun. It was the perfect day for the beach, and it was her first time to a California beach of any kind. So far she liked what she saw. Alex would have come with Chance, but he was working today. She was fair skinned, so she hoped to get a bit of a tan, and not burn like always. She grabbed the suntan lotion from beside her and began to rub it on her arms. Alex couldn’t quite reach her back, so she let it be. A man came and casted his shadow over her as he set up his chair. He was wearing red and white swim trunks, and had a nice lightly tanned skin. “No. Do not fall for Los Angeles,” she told herself. It was a stereotype she followed, but from what she had read they seemed, different. Well, different from Texan boys. Alex wore a black bikini, what people think when they think of bikinis. It was all black, except for the skull and crossbones in white on the left cup. It defiantly wasn’t the cutest bikini, but she didn’t own too many. She lived in a hot state, but she didn’t own a pool, nor live by the ocean. So she had only about three swimming suits.

Logan's blue eyes spotted a blonde headed girl. God, she was beautiful. It was almost like she was a greek godess or something. He smiled at her. Logan got out of his lawn chair to go talk to her. His legs walked over to her slowly. Logan stood infront of her now. "Hey, I was thinking, that maybe you would help me build a sand castle? You see I'm not very good at making them. I could use a couple of pointers. So you up for the challenge?"He asked with a wide grin on his face. He studied her for a moment. Logan's blue eyes looked away for a second then back at her. "I'm Logan, by the way. Your name?"Logan asked nicely with the same grin on his face. He ran his fingers through his brown hair. Logan looked down at the beautiful girl while waiting for her response.

The man she once looked over before casted his shadow over her, ruining her tan session. Alex poked her head up, as it was buried in her towel and eyed him. ”Sorry, I’m not into stranger-danger,” she said as she put her head back down. Anyone could see that he was hot, but hotness wasn’t everything. First off, he was already sort-of hitting on her, and she barely knew him. On the bright side, at least he didn’t use some horrid pickup line. ”Challenge? Aren’t sandcastles kid stuff?” she asked, once she poked her head up one more, propping her body up by her elbows. Alex didn’t want to give in to easily, and playing hard to get was always a good plan. ”Me? I’m a lady.” she said, not really in a teasing matter. After all, she barely knew that guy. At least this guy wasn’t a celebrity or anything; at least she hoped not. ”Do you hit on all the girls at he beach?’ she asked promptly.

Logan listened to her as she spoke. A smile grew on his face. His eyes wandered down at her. He shook his head. "I'm Logan. I'm 21 years old. I like dogs better then cats. I am the manager at Starbucks." He paused a moment prentending as if he was thinking hard. This girl was different from alot of other girls he had met. They normally would agree and he would be building the sand castle by now. Instead, he was sitting here trying to prove her he wasn't their to pick up here. Logan just wanted to have some fun. "Do I hear a chicken?" Logan asked raising his eyebrows playfully at her. His blue eyes looked down into hers as he wore a smile. "No, if I was hitting on you I would have called you gorgeous. So now, I'm hitting on you."Logan teased with a grin on his face. He didn't mind playing this little game.

”Well, Logan?’ she paused to add some suspension. ”Starbucks, eh? Dogs, I have to agree,” she said raising an eyebrow. He really wanted her to build a sandcastle. He seemed descent and a different guy than she would normally hangout with. Most the guys she dated were more nerdy, as they were more her type. ”Chicken? You have the wrong girl,” she sighed. She wasn’t really into these childish games; today. Normally she might follow through, if she knew the guy pretty well. ”Well, if I was to build a sandcastle, you would know,” she sighed, trying to find the mere light that he wasn’t blocking to tan. Alexandria couldn’t help but feel her heart race a bit when he called her gorgeous. Not pretty, gorgeous. Two completely different concepts. No, she would give in quite yet, though a sandcastle did sound fun.

Logan chuckled a bit at Alex. "Are you going to tell me you name?"He asked with a wide grin. He just wanted to build a sand castle with her as if right now. Logan kind of figured she would dig him once they got into talking. If she wasn't already digging him. Logan's smirk was plastered on his face and couldn't be removed. His blue eyes locked onto hers. I know you wanna. C'mon. You just have to be stubborn, don't you?" He asked narrowing his eyes playfully down at her. Logan really wanted to build the sand castle.

”Alexandria,” she sighed after finally giving in to tell him her name. ”Fine. I’ll build a sandcastle,” she said, narrowing her eyes. Slowly Alex got up, and stood, crossing her arms. ”Happy now?” she said sarcastically. He really wanted to build this sandcastle. In the end she probably have fun, but for now it sounded like something she would do if she was babysitting. Alex cracking her knuckles, to show it was on. Promptly after she re-crossed her arms and tilted her head. ”What are you waiting for?” she said with a slight smirk. She had game. He was in for a surprise.

Logan grinned at her. "I can make a pretty mean sand castle. So you better watch it Alexa." He liked her attitude on things. He found it cute and it kept him interested into what she had to say next. "Hmm... I think so. I mean it really depends how much more stubborn your going to act." Logan teased her while he stuck out his tongue. A smile grew onto his face as his blue eyes gazed into hers. He broke it off and looked at the ground. Logan began to trot over to his spot. He sat in the sand and began to get out all the sand supply. "Now, lets make a beastly sand castle." Logan suggested with a smirk. He was happy he was getting the chance to spend time with Alexa. Logan was actually being himself with her. Instead of acting like a whore. She reminded him of who he use to be before LA began to change him. This was a good thing about Alexa. Logan smiled softly once more as he scanned the ocean waves rocking around then wandered back to Alexa.

”It’s Alexandria to you,” she hissed. How could he know she was often called Alexa? Sure, it was a popular nickname, but still. Her light blue eyes met his aqua eyes for a split second before looking away. ”Sticking out your tongue…really?” she asked. He was so childish. If she wanted to be a child she could hand out with a four year old for a day, but they were adults, not kids. She stepped behind him, stepping in the holes he made with his feet.
Now Alex was next to his little set up of a chair and a bucket to make the castle. ”Beastly sandcastles? Watch your adjectives,” she semi-teased. She was starting to loosen up, but she was tough. She was a strong girl, who had overcome a bunch in the last few weeks to a month. Though, she always ended up being underestimated. Alex sat down and sunk into the sand, as she whirled her finger around making a line design. She remembered when she was younger she went to the Gulf of Mexico and built sandcastles in the beach. She would always make them near the ocean to make a mote and such, but try to keep it alive. In a way, it was sort of like a game to protect the royal sandcastle. Now, game on.

Logan chuckled at here, "You sure are feisty aren't you? I'm kind of intimated." He teased her. Logan began to fill a bucket with sand. He handed Alexandria a bucket so she could star on the sand castle. Then she said to watch his adjectives. He raised his eyebrow playfully at her, "Or what?" He asked with a grin spread one cheek from the other so his dimples were showing. Logan put sand in the bucket filling it quite a bit. In the corner of his eyes he peeked at her. He couldn't help but to smile at her. She was overall such a beautiful. Plus, she didn't act like other girls which made Logan more attracted to her. Her pushing him away made Logan want her more. Even if they became just friends was okay with him. Just as long as Logan had some part of her life he was okay.

”I’m not one to be messed with,” she said with poise and dignity. Alex wasn’t really into his humor, though it would probably grow on her sooner or later. Instead of verbally replying to his “or what” comment she glared at with the glare of death. She mostly used it when people annoyed her, but this worked too. ”Don’t you need water, or damp sand?” she asked as he piled up the sand in the bucket. It obviously wouldn’t stick with water, which would act like a glue to hold it together. She felt a bit awkward just being in a bikini, but it was the beach after all. Everyone was in her bikinis, even pregnant woman and heavy people. They rocked it. For some reason it was awkward for her to be in bikini if she wasn’t tanning nor swimming. She just felt so bare without anything else on.

Logan laughed at her, "Well, I can see that. Your a bit vicious."Logan grinned trying to lighten up the mood. He was just acting a bit dumb today. Sort of like a kid. But, he was enjoying doing it. It wasn't like Logan was trying to get in the girls pants. He just wanted to have a fun day with her. Maybe do something flirting here and there. Logan nodded at her, "Duh..." He teased her. He put some of the salty ocean water into his bucket. Then he planted the bucket into the sand. "Let's start off from here."He suggested with a smile. "So Alexa- Alexandria what brings you to LA?" He asked curious to know. Maybe, she grew up here. He just wanted to stir up some conversation with her. Hopefully, he didn't ask the wrong question. His light blue eyes looked up at her with a smirk spread across his face.

”How did you know I was new?” she asked curiously. Did she have signs of being new? Was it that she was ungodly and ghostly pale? She was puzzled by this, but maybe he was just making friendly conversation. Alex eased the bucket up, making sure not to crumble the sandcastle. It turned out nicely, so far. Alex scooped the bucket into the sand and then stood up, making her way to the ocean. There she carried the bucket with her and poured a tiny bit of water in it, before adding a bit more.
When she arrived back she handed him the bucket, which she had to use two hands to do since it was pretty heavy. ”Here,” she said handing it to him. She then resumed her sitting position next to him and waited for him to add onto the castle. Alex began to dig around in the sand for shells to decorate, or little twigs. Okay, so maybe this wasn’t so bad, but she wouldn’t let him know that.

Logan shrugged his shoulders, "I didn't. I was just trying to make some conversation." He stated with a smile across his face. So, she was new. That was a good thing. Logan figured she hadn't heard anything about him with other girls and stuff. He just wanted a serious relationship right now. Logan anted to get his life puzzled back together. His blue eyes looked at her innocently. He planted another part of the castle then a small one. "After were done building a sand castle do you want to take a walk then go get something to eat?He asked politely with a slight grin on his face. He hoped that she would take his offer. Logan wanted to get to know her a bit better.
