Chloe arrived at the park around 12 in the afternoon. She was going to help her mom and dad along with a few others raise some money for Japan. But, of course they were late like usual. Chloe rolled her eyes and muttered something underneath her breathe. She began to scammed from the spot and headed towards the bridge that towered over the water. Today, it was warm yet it looked like as though it could rain due to the cloudiness and musky air.
Chloe was wearing a grey dress and a pair oh high boots. A nice purple jacket kept her arms from being cold. Her make-up was light yet pretty. Her dark locks were in waves that went past her shoulders blowing in the wind every once in a while. Chloe had her black purse slung over her shoulder. Her light brown eyes gazed out into the water. It was as though her life had just been going down hill lately.

Cameron had spent most of his day running errands and keeping himself busy. When he was busy it made him not worry about the two girls that he couldn't figure out. Though he would probably never figure out girls, Tori and Chloe weren't making things any easier.
When he started thinking about them again he sighed before locking his car and heading further into the park. It was a bit cloudy today so he was wearing a long sleeved dark teal colored shirt with a pair of jeans and shoes. He put his hands in his pockets as he got closer to the center of the park. Finally he found a grassy spot under a tree and just sprawled out in the grass.
Putting his hands behind his head he closed his eyes and sighed, trying to force his mind to go blank.

Chloe let out a long sigh as she threw a couple of rocks into the water. She couldn't keep her mind off of Cameron as much as she didn't want to. Chloe leaned against the railing with her for arms resting onto it. She never felt so played, hurt, upset, angry, and betrayed in a long time. She just felt like going back to her home town and to never return to L.A. Chloe planned on not talking to Cameron for a long time. She had been ignoring and avoiding him at all times. She just wasn't sure if she was ready to forgive him for what he did.
Chloe left the bridge to head back to the charity place and start without her parents. She hated the fact they were late for everything. It was very aggravating to her. After strolling around a bit her chocolate brown eyes caught a glimpse of Cameron. She sighed and shook her head. Chloe just decided to walk past him and not talk to him. She shoved her hands into the pockets of her jacket. After a couple of steps from passing him she turned her head to look at him once more before walking away slowly.

Cameron sighed deeply once more before opening his eyes and gazing up at the tree branches above his head for a long while. When he heard footsteps nearby he raised himself up onto his elbows so he could look around. Chloe was walking past him, her hands in her pockets. He jumped to his feet and ran after her, slipping in the grass a bit in his hurry to get to her side.
"Chloe?" he called after her as she kept walking. When he finally got next to her he stepped in front of her so she couldn't keep walking away from him before putting his hands on her upper arms. She had every right to be mad at him, he had gotten swept up in Tori's act once more and had gone with her instead of staying with Chloe.
"Look Chloe, I know that you're extremely pissed at me and I know why. And you have every right to be pissed but please give me a minute to explain." he replied, a sad look on his face as he finally let go of her, just now realizing that his hands were still on her upper arms.

Chloe heard a voice call after her knowing it was Cameron. Whatever he had to say it no longer mattered her. She got played and her heart broken. Once his muscler figure was in front of her she listened to him avoiding to look at him. She didn't want to look into those blue eyes she adored. Chloe felt his hands touch her arms. Her eyes shifted from his hands up to his face then away once again. He facial expression was blank. Chloe folded her arms across her chest as she waited for him to speak. "Fine." She spoke softly still not looking at him. Chloe sighed wanting to hear what he could possibly say to make up for this huge mistake.

Cameron smiled just a bit when she agreed to let him talk but then his mind went blank as he tried to think of some way to explain to her what had happened. He had ignored her and gotten pulled back into Tori's whirlpool of lust and lies and then Tori had disappeared once again, leaving him alone and now with no one. His light blue eyes glanced down at the ground for a moment before he finally raised them up to look at her.
"I'm so sorry for hurting you Chloe. Tori was my first love and my first loss and it was really hard for me to not want to go back to the way things were in the past even though I knew that wasn't ever going to happen. I need to look to the future and stop living in the past. But I can't do that without you. . ." he spoke softly, knowing that she probably wouldn't believe anything he was saying because the truth made him sound like an asshole, which he was for leaving Chloe. When she wouldn't meet his eyes he tilted her chin up to him so that their eyes met, a sad look in his eyes.
"Chloe, I. . . I love you. . ." he added, his voice a whisper now as he studied her face, wondering what her reaction would be.

Chloe had been beyond hurt by Cameron. She actually thought he was different and was going to be worth all the hell she'd go through just to be with him. What an idiot.. Out of all people it was Cameron who had hurt her. A tear rolled down her tan cheeks as he spoke to her. Her chocolate brown eyes looked up at him and shook her head while removing the sheds of tears only to replaced. "You let me down. How could I ever trust you again? If you wanted Tori you could have said it. It couldn't have hurt as much as this does." Chloe spoke softly as her eyes remained locked on his. "How do you hurt someone you love? I just can't believe you." She said as tears strolled down from her eyes. "To think you you were different and you out of all people do this to me..." She trailed off. "I really thought I loved you you right back. It's just hard when the guy decided to take a beating to it. Maybe it's just best if we don't do it. I'm not sure your worth all this trouble." Chloe cried a bit harder. She couldn't believe she was saying this. Deep down she just wanted to forgive him but his way of saying sorry wasn't good enough for her. There were to many feelings she felt right now. The list just went on and on. Her eyes still looked up at him even though she was crying and her make-up smeared and trailed down her face. Chloe wanted him to see the hurt and pain in her eyes.

Cameron understood where she was coming from and her words made sense though they hurt him to hear. He knew that he had ran off with Tori only to be hurt by her again. It was karma and karma was a bitch. She had hurt him and he had hurt Chloe. It was a very unhealthy circle. When she said that she wasn't sure if she could forgive him, he nodded a bit and looked down at the ground before taking a couple of steps away from her, putting his hands in his pockets before raising his eyes to hers once more.
Sadness and hurt burned in her chocolate brown eyes and it made them painful to look into but he kept his gaze on hers, knowing that he deserved all of the guilt and pain that she was laying out for him.
"I understand. . ." he spoke simply, unsure if he would ever get to see her again.

Chloe could see Cameron was struggling with her saying all this and yhen taking it all in. But, so was she. All he said was I understand. She deserved for him atleast to talk to her a little bit after what he did. Chloe wanted to be with him really bad. But, she was scared to be hurt again. She didn't want to be left for another girl. Deep down inside Chloe knew he had a good heart and had made a huge mistake. She didn't want Cameron to take a step back from her. Chloe went in for a hug just staying in the spot. She felt like she could stay like this forever. "I love you too." She spoke softly as she was nestled into his chest. "I don't want to not see you. Because I need you in my life. I just don't want to get hurt again." She continued as she got a strong scent of him. He did smell pretty good. It began to sprinkle wet rain from the sky. Her chocolate brown eyes looked up the back at Cameron. Chloe wasn't sure where this was going but hoped it was going to be good.

Cameron was a bit surprised when she came back towards him and hugged him but he didn't object and wrapped her in his arms and held her to his chest for a long moment. He knew that he had messed up and he wasn't going to make excuses about it because it was his fault and that was clear. But what was there for him to say to her that would make her understand he didn't want to hurt her.
"I'll never hurt you again. . . I promise. . ." he whispered softly as he looked down into her chocolate brown eyes with his light blue ones. A small smile raised the corners of his mouth as he looked at her.

Chloe listened to what he was saying. She wasn't sure if she should believe him or not. Did he really want her or not? It was hard telling after what he had done to her. How could he be smiling after all this because Chloe just couldn't even force a smile. "Are you really going to keep your promise?" She asked knowing he was going to say yes and she was going to see if he was telling the truth by his facial expression. Chloe wanted to just kiss Cameron and get over all this. If her parents found out hell would rise. Which she was willing to risk for Cameron because she loved him. Her lips almost craved to kiss him. But, she was going to let him do that. The rain began to drizzle more but, Chloe didn't care. Chloe backed away from his chest still standing close to him. She grabbed one of his hands and laced it into hers. Chloe could have seen herself with Cameron for the rest of her life. Young love couldn't get any better.

Cameron could tell that it was hard for her to get over what he had done to her and the hurt in her eyes stabbed him like a blade to the chest. He didn't know what he could do to possibly make her believe him. All he knew was that if she gave him another chance, then he would spend every day of the rest of his life showing her how much she meant to him and how sorry he was for being stupid enough to leave her.
After all, they were soul mates.
"Yes." he said simply, his light blue eyes looking down at her and sadness burning in them as he waited to see what she would say.
