Blake hoped it hadnt been too awkward but she needed some comapny tonight and the only person she could really think of to come with her was Andrew. She had invited him to see some random flick in movie theaters. It was some comical kiddie film, her favorites. She had said on the telephone that she missed him and she wanted to hang out with him outside of work... was that so bad? Maybe it was, she didnt think it was in her opinion. After all though, Blake wasnt like other girls as most people could already tell.
It was chilly outside the movie theater, her long red hair straightened and tied up in a pony tail with a graphic tee, skinny jeans and a black leather jacket strewn over her upper body to keep her warm. She surveyed the streets incase he came. If he didnt, then she knew that she had made a mistake and walking into work would be highly awkward the next day; having to face him.
She then saw him coming across the street and immediately turned around to buy two tickets at the booth. "Uhm two tickets to that uhm... movie there." As she pointed to the picture of the movie. The woman tore of two stubs of tickets. Turning around again he was there. She smiled and stood on her toes to hug him, giving him a peck on the cheek. "Hey, I was beginning to think that you wouldnt show." She said, scoffing slightly. All these thoughts were running in her mind, He probably has a girlfriend you idiot, stop talking he thinks your being weird, is he smiling at you? Does he have an interest in you? Just shut up and give him his ticket. As she outstretched her hand to hand him his white ticket. "Just some random movie, I thought the atmosphere would be really relaxing after a tiring day at work." Giving him a wink.
Pushing open the door to the theater she walked over to the concession stand. She ordered a massive soda and some popcorn along with some Dips, handing the cashier a twenty dollar bill. "Can I get you anything?" She asked him. He looked really different under the dim lighting, but a good different. A very, VERY good different.

Andrew finished his cigerette and put it out before he pulled his car into the parking garage and picked one of the closest spots he could find. When he found one, he pulled in and turned off the engine, getting out and throwing his leather jacket that had been lying on the passenger seat over his shoulder. His hair was messy, he had not shaved in a few weeks so he had a shadow on his chin, and he had looked like he just rolled out of bed and put on a white shirt and jeans. The only thing that he thought looked nice about him was the fact that his converse where tied correctly. Sighing he walked down the middle of the garage, inbetween cars and trucks and vans before coming out to the darkened street where he put his jacket on fully and shoved his hands in his pockets. He was very nervous to be here, especially with Blake.
He was not used to going out to places. He had always been the social wallflower except for at work. All he did was work. At starbucks, it was coffee. At home, it was writing and drawing. The only time he usually took a break from using his hands was when he was asleep, which only lasted a few hours each night since he would constantly toss and turn on the tiny spring mattress.
Spotting Blake, he smiled crookedly and made his way over to her. "Hey, stranger." He said, his british accent lightly accenting his already deep voice. He hugged her tightly, wrapping his arms around her waist and smirking to himself at how tiny she actually was compared to his stature. He pulled back when she did and took his ticket from her. "Thank you, ma'am. A random movie? Well, I am not much of a movie go-er so anything will be fine. We will probably be talking the whole time anyways, knowing you." He teased her, messing with her ponytail before walking into the theatre behind her and looking over the menu. When she offered him anything he shook his head. "Nah, I will probably just share with you. No big deal." He said before heading towards the theatre that they where in, looking at the numbers on the door and trying to choose the correct one.

They found the theater with ease, as she handed her ticket to the usher before having the ticket torn once more, before she tossed the last half into the trash can nearest the door. She balanced the drink, candy and ice cream in her arms, entering the dark movie theater. She somewhat lost her balance, and she felt as if the drink was going to fall over. “Can you hold this?” She asked him as she handed him the drink and slowly trotted up the stairs, looking at the dimly lit aisles as she chose a row towards the middle of the theater, the sound was even and the screen was at a perfect length.
Squeezing through the tight rows, she took a seat and balanced the candy and ice cream squares in her lap as she hassled to open the lid of Dibs. Finally with a good tug she managed to pull off the lid as she then reached in and grabbed a Dib, reaching over and handing it to him, before leaning over him and grabbed the drink and setting it in the cup holder between them. “You said share.” She laughed, re-adjusting her pony tail. She sighed and wiggled in her seat to get comfortable, her leather jacket keeping her snug. “Thanks for coming…” She smiled at him.

He quickly took the drink in one hand and took her arm in the other to make sure she was balanced. He went to say something about helping but she was back on her feet, quickly walking to the center seat. Perfect spot, he thought. He hated being too close and having to look up at the screen and hurt his neck, or being way in the back where the sound was blaring out from behind them. He took the soda and watched her with caution as she sat down and managed somehow to balance everything on her legs. Sitting down beside her, he watched the previews. When he was not paying attention she took the drink from his hand and replaced it with an icecream dip. He popped it in his mouth and let it melt on his tongue before swallowing it and looking down, somewhat, at her.
Grinning he nodded. "Of course I would come, B. You are my favorite employee and my hardest worker." He said, leaning over and sipping the drink before being a gentlemen and wiping off the tip of the straw where his mouth was. He looked at her for a minute with a smile before taking off his leather jacket and putting it in his lap so it would not fall off the back of the chair like it always did. He would constantly let it fall and then when he got it back up there would be gum or some soda stuck to it and he had to buy a new one. He looked up at the movie projector screen and watched the previews, not really paying attention to what they where showing.

"I still remember the interview, you were so hard on me." She laughed, as the preview flashed across the screen. "Im glad to know thought that I am your favorite employee. I guess... you're my favorite person. My only person..." She shrugged and fumbled to open with the Sour Patch Kids. "Can you open this for me please?" She asked as she handed the package to him; watching him tear it open with ease. It was the small sour watermelons, her favorite as she dug her hand in and pulled out a few, leaving the box with him.
The screen turned to green and the rating showed up, PG. Of course, as if she couldnt get any more immature. "So far, hanging out with you isnt that bad." She laughed as the intro began to play and the actors names appeared on the screen. "You've got this vibe you know? Like, look let me see your hand." She reached over and grabbed his hand, examining his palm. "Watch..." She placed her hand ontop of his and she felt this rushing sensation throughout her body, her hand and arm tingling. Slowly she removed her hand, "Chemistry." As she cleared her throat, knowing she had made it an awkward moment probably. Great job Blakely way to ruin it.... again.

Andrew looked down immidiatley when she asked him to do something, nodding and stealing another dip before opening the box, taking out the bag and opening it with his teeth then putting the bag back in the box part. He looked at her and smiled, listening to her describe everything. "Your only person? What do you mean?" He asked, laughing softly as she spoke about chemistry. When she pulled her hand back he smiled and shook her head at her. He watched as she pulled out another watermelon and he took her wrist gently and ate it from her fingers, laughing and making a funny slurping sound. "Delicious." He teased her, before handing her a watermelon. He then looked back up at the screen, watching it curiously.

As she pulled out a watermelon candy, he grabbed her wrist and stole the watermelon straight from her hand making a slurping noise. He was too funny. He probably wanted to bother her and gross her out but what he didn’t know what that she was raised in an all boy neighborhood and small things like that didn’t gross her out. As he gave her hand back she then used her fingers to wipe on the side of his face. “Ha!” She laughed, before tossing some popcorn at him, landing on his shoulder. Maybe dating him wouldn’t be a bad idea after all but she hadn’t known if he was single or not and she thought it would be too awkward to ask. “Its going to be hard to watch this movie with you of all people.” She smiled, elbowing him in the side.

He wiped his cheek off and rolled his eyes at her before dusting the popcorn off of his shoulder and knudging her in the arm. When she knudged him back and said that it would be hard to watch the movie with him he laughed and shrugged. "I am the worst." He teased before throwing a piece of popcorn at her. "Okay, get serious and watch the movie." He said, sitting still finally and looking up at the screen, leaning one of his arms on the armrest and putting his head in his hand with a small sigh as he watched it with not much enthusiasm or attention to the details of the movie.

"You truly are the worst. I cannot even sit here without bursting out in laughter. You know what?" She asked him as she all of a sudden had a light bulb go off in her head. "There is a race car thingie-ma-jigg down the road, do you want to go?" She asked him, as she continued to munch on the popcorn, alternating with him between ice cream and popcorn and the soda that was now beginning to taste more like water than soda.

He made a face before shaking his head. "No, I do not like big hunks of metal that could possibly blow out my eardrums." He said, shrugging before looking back at the movie. Just then, his cellphone buzzed so he whispered "I gotta take this. Be back." Before jogging out of the theatre and standing on the outside of the door, talking on the phone quietly. After a bit he hung up and went back into the theatre and sat down. "Sorry about that." He said, watching the movie once more.

He had declined her invitation to go and ride some bumper cars, but she understood why. She had this massive fear of trains and the noise of the tracks and the chugging wheels colliding against one another gave her chills all the way down her spine and to the tips of her toes. It seemed that they had some things in common; people at work had been pushing her to try and talk to him as they knew of her miniscule crush on him and they fully supported her along the ride as she tried to go ahead and put herself out there and talk to him in which she wasnt really comfortable doing usually.
His cell phone had buzzed in the movie theater, causing some people infront to turn around and look at them with darting glances. Blake rolled her eyes, and looked back at them as Andrew excused himself. He disappeared down the stairs before coming back shortly, seeming the same. "No problem at all, is everything okay?" She asked him as he sat down once more. The movie speakers blared an explosion and she flinched at the loud noise which had scared her greatly. As the noises passed she relaxed, snuggling into her leather jacket more.
Andrew struck her as a sensitive guy, a guy that never rushed things and took his time strolling through things. She liked slow moving and taking her time too. Both were hard workers and enjoyed exploring their creative atmospheres more than others. They took fun in the silliest things and they both were humorous. Friends? Most definitely. Relationship? The more she considered it, the more she actually realized that maybe he was too good for her. Time would only tell.

Andrew laughed softly as the explosion scared her and whispered "Yeah, just one of the workers asking a question." He explained to her, always involved in his career. He looked back up at the screen and watched with keen curiousity. The movie finally ended and he stood up, finisihing off the dibs before she could and taking all of the trash while she carried the half full soda and barely-empty popcorn. He threw everything away in the large carbage can outside of the movie theatre that was shaped like a green leaf, with the words DON'T LITTER on the top. He then turned back to her and smiled, taking the soda from her and sipping it. "So, what do you want to do next? No trains, loud noises, insects, or fire please." He laughed softly and winked at her before going to the main area of the theatre and throwing his drink away. He then stood outside and made a phonecall to his mom and dad, checking in on them and talking to them briefly like he did every other day while he waited for her to finish her popcorn and come back outside since he didn't want to stop to eat anywhere else.

"Are you interested in lets say... some nature walking?" She asked, it was about mid-day around 3:00 because the movie had taken quite some time. She just remembered some chunks of the movie since most of the time she was joking and playing around with Andrew. She had to admit, it was a lot of fun to be able to joke around with someone after a really long hard day of work.
"I know this really great trail that has this wonderful nature walk and there are not a lot of mosquitoes or bugs of any sort. Plus they have this cool observatory and at night it is really pretty." She shrugged, "Just a simple idea, feel free to decline... but you must come up with an idea then." She poked out her tongue at him as they ambled downtown along the badly paved side walks.
