Aaron was surprised to hear her say let’s go, but he wasn’t one to argue with that. He needed something to get off his mind, and if anyone, Roxi would be the one. He still wondered what happened with Logan and Roxi, but decided to not ask any questions. Who wants to hear what she did with another man, he could guess.
Aaron went around to the other side of the car and opened his door and slipped into the driver’s seat. He placed the keys in the socket and started the car. He began to back out of his park spot and hoped he was making the right decision.
He felt the wind briefly blow through his hair and he sat behind the wheel with Roxi next to him. He felt like a dog, just wanting to stick his head out the window and wag his tail. He placed a nervous grin on his face and kept it there until it hurt. He took off his sunglasses so he could look Roxi in the eye anytime and took a deep breath, calming himself. He had done it plenty of times, why was this different?
