Chloe laughed while she rolled her eyes. "Yeah, thats sounds peachy." She spoke softly as she scrunched up her face. Her smile grew on her face. Chloe would have never thought she would end up going to the beach this late and meet an old friend. It was pretty awesome. Chloe grinned at Chance wondering what he was going to say next. She never knew.

Chance shook his head teasingly as if he was disappointed in her response. She scrunched up her nose and he laughed before glancing over at her once more.
"Well don't sound to excited to be getting to work with your best friend in the whole world! Well your best guy friend that is." he replied, nudging her gently in a playful way as they continued to walk down the beach. They stayed silent for a moment and an idea came into Chance's head and he turned to her once more.
"Hey I don't know if you have plans or anything but would you wanna hang out and catch up? Your place or mine?" he asked, not sure if she would be up to it or not. They hadn't seen each other in a little while and he was curious to really get to talk to her again like he use to. |

Chloe laughed at him, "I mean, OH MY GOSH! I GET TO WORK WITH CHANCE CAINE!" She began to scream and jump up and down happily. "Better?" She asked raising her eyebrows at him with a smirk spread across her face. Then he said something about his place or hers. She began to walk backwards heading towards her condo, "Just text me sometime. Bye Bye Chance." Chloe grinned before turning around and leaving him behind as she began walking towards her condo.

Chance laughed at her as she mocked him and began jumping up and down and yelling like some crazed fan, which she most definitely wasn't. His arm fell from her shoulders in her wild display and he put them into the pockets of his leather jacket. His light blue eyes looked down at the sand once more before looking up at her as he asked his second question.
When she turned and said to text her sometime before leaving him alone on the beach he looked after her with raised eyebrows for a moment before turning so he could watch her walk away. A smile began to form across his face as he watched her leave. She was one of the few girls to leave him hanging and not want to hang out with him.
Sighing and shaking his head, though keeping a smile on his face, he turned and walked back towards the beach parking lot before climbing in his car and starting the engine. His headlights came on and he sat there for a moment, looking up at the condos she had disappeared into for a moment before he started to pull out of the spot and head home. |
