Logan laughed. A smile curled up onto his lips. "Your company is all I really need. A good friend like you." He confessed with a smirk on his shaved face. His blue eyes saw his steak. He grabbed a steak knife and fork. He didn't cut all the pieces because that wasn't the proper way to eat a steak. He sliced a piece just for a bite. He chewed and swallowed it down. Logan grabbed his water while taking a sip out of it. He looked at Giselle with a smile on his faces while his eyes watched hers.

She stabbed at the lettuce and heard it crunch underneath the weight of the fork. "Well... since I am free, after this we should go do something fun like go down to the carnival section of the beach and get down." She joked, sticking out her tongue and taking another sip of her Coke, finishing the drink and ordering a lemonade to keep her skin hydrated and moisturized.

Logan began to laugh once more. "The carnival part sounds fun." He said with a smirk. He cut and ate a few pieces of his steak once more. Then Logan took a sip of his water. He smirked at Giselle while studyng her with his blue eyes.

Finishing her salad, she set her utensils down on her plate before stirring her lemonade. She looked up at him and caught him eyeing her, "Why are you looking at me like that? Seems like you want me more than the steak." She hoisted her arm in the air to collect the check from the waitress. "Let me refresh your memory sweetie, I am with someone. And lets go to the carnival now because I want to kick your ass in some games." She signed the bill with her signature pink pen that was crystallized and had her name on the side of it. Giselle was self made and self independent, she liked paying for things herself, knowing that she could boost her confidence more knowing that she too had the money to take care of things.

Logan nodded, "I know. I wouldn't want to destroy a relationship. If your happy then I am." He said with a slight smile. He was also done with his food. He put his silverwear on his clean plate. "You don't stand a chance." Logan grinned. "Thanks for paying. Next time, it's on me." Logan stood up. He put back on his shirt. Logan waited for Giselle with a smirk on his face.

She stood up and pushed in her chair, a bit too full from the salad. "On you? Haha, you are going to have to kill me if you want to pay for the bill." Slinging her woven bag over her shoulder and slipping on her sunglasses. His mouth was saying one thing when it came to her relationship but his eyes were saying much more, something completely different. It was hard being taken, but she liked dating and being taken and having someone special love her. Although sometimes, she missed the freedom of just randomly going crazy with flings, Tyson was as good as it gets. "So I heard you were getting down with Samantha the new girl?" She slightly snickered afterward.

Logan raised in eyebrow sighing a bit. He began to walk out into the open. "We just dance. There was another girl too. Her name was Maddee. Just two girls having fun with aguy like me." He added. He gazed around the beach. "How do you find out about this stuff anyways?" Logan asked with a slight smile. He was also ready to play some games.

Walking down the boardwalk to the section of small carnival games she squealed with excitement. "Im sure she told you she was a model. Mhm... Maddee, I know her, the eighteen year old not even permitted in Karma." She winked at him when he asked him how she found out all this information. "People think models are dumb, but I do my reading..." Scrolling through her phone and pulling up Gossip Girl with the attached picture. "I love you but, grinding with an eighteen year old and some trashy wanna be? I know you can do better. Is this a step up from me?" She aske,d honestly surprised at his choice of girls recently.

Logan clenched his jaw and shook his head. "Of course not Giselle. I just want to have some fun. I don't see why you really care though." Logan replied. He looked around to find the water balloon squirt gun game. "This?" He asked.

"Getting a little defensive are we? Why do I care?" They strolled down the boardwalk a bit more, the ocean calm as she felt the wind rush against her arms as she was sprinkled with salty air mist. "Logan... Although we aren't a couple, I live you... In a brotherly way and to see you being sleazy and finding any girl really upsets me because you are better than that." She ran a hand through her hair, letting it fall messily.
"Prepare for defeat!" She yelled as she dropped her stuff and sat behind the water gun, "Go!" She screamed, barely winning as he pulled into first. "Vous êtes censé laisser la jeune fille gagner." She muttered in French. "How about another round?" She asked, paying yet again, she really did enjoy participating in childish activities as it made her remember all the positives and negatives of her life and that she could re create the happy.

Logan looked at her, "I know. I'm sorry Giselle. I promise the Logan you knew before, he's still here. He's just lonely." He said making a pupping dog face then a smile formed. "I didn't screw Maddee or Sam. They're just friends. I am just exploring girls trying to find one with a good relationship. Kind of like what we had until it fell down hill." Logan said with a slight smile. "But, I kind of like this whole new friends atmosphere." Logan confessed.
Then he sat on the stool and began to shoot the squirt gun filling up the balloon. Then he heard her speaking in french. With a grin he replied, "Je suis juste une personne compétitive. Je ne peux pas vous laisser gagner. Vous devrez gagner qu'il est juste et carré." Then stuck out his tongue. "Yeah, lets play again." He shot the water balloon trying very hard to beat Giselle but, just couldn't. "Defeat." He admitted making another puppy dog face. "Do you want to go on some go karts?" He asked excitedly. Logan loved going on go karts. He found them very amusing.

Screw Maddee or Sam? That is not what she meant, "I never said you did, I may have somewhat implied that but I didnt mean that." She laughed, getting ready for another game of what she called 'fill up the balloon' game. It was always fun to kick back and relax and go crazy with good friends. "I really like the friend zone too." She smiled as she leaned over and teasingly punched him in the arm.
"Ah, je vois. Maintenant, je suis plus tenté de gagner ..." She laughed as she squirted the water into the little red dot to see who would fill it up faster. The attendant to the tent seemed bored and tired and that they just wanted to get out of there. She filled up the balloon and the alarm went off. "J'ai gagné!" She cheered as she picked up her bag and went down to the cotton candy booth, all she wanted to do was win.

Logan looked at her with a slight smile, "Oh, I thought you were implying that then." He said. Logan watched as she hit him. He sarcastically mouthed ouch while rubbing it. He stuck out his tongue then grinned. "I'm glad you do." He confessed. Logan was very much happy for Giselle. And if she wanted to just be friends, that was fine with him. He would end up finding another girl one of these days. He looked at the game and then back at Giselle with a devious grin. "Votre sur."
Logan began to squirt the water from the gun missing mostly on purpose. He wanted Giselle to win. It would make him look like a meanie for not letting the girl win. Logan smiled rolling his eyes, "Vous avez juste eu de la chance." He got up and followed to Giselle to the cotton candy. "2 Please."He demanded to the lady then handing her a 5$ bill. Logan looked at Giselle. "Its a gorgeous day outside ehh?" Logan smirked while his blue eyes wandered around.

She missed speaking in French locally. That was one thing, her and Logan could do, speak in French with no worries about translation. Not that she cared but she missed the flowing tall between another person. She opened her hand bag and dug out her wallet handing him a five dollar bill. "Reimbursement, I told you that I hate when people pay for me." Slapping the bill in his hand making sure he understood her point. The French, very strong headed. She used her hand to pick off bits of fluffy cotton candy. She had picked blue berry and she liked the sweet yet sour flavor it contained.
Logan tried to make small talk with the famous topic of weather and Giselle shook her head. "What's wrong? We dated for like 2 years, we were extremely serious and you strike up a conversation with weather?" She never really was one in an awkward setting but with Logan it seemed like that. Was he still a tad bit in love with her. Their relationship was strong and well known but then, her career took off and she knew tha having a boyfriend would complicate things more so she ended it with him for her career. Business first, boys second. That was how she ran her life. It seemed to work.

Logan narrowed her eyes at her, "Fine." He said playfully stuffing the money back in his pocket. Then she brought up the topic. He just said it was a beautiful day outside now she was all worried about things. Logan smiled while rubbing his neck, "Giselle, I know you have a boyfriend. I would never try to take you away. I know we dated for 2 years and all. But, its over. Now were friends. Nothing more. Thats fine with me." He didn't mean to be akward it was a beautiful day outside. He was just stating a comment. Logan sighed a bit under his breathe looking out into the water. He did love Giselle but, not like that. Atleast not anymore. Logan's smile grew as he began to looked out to the ocean. He always did love the ocean. Logan peeked at Giselle wondering what she had been thinking.
