Wow, she really was like the hot church girl that never does anything wrong and that you can never get with cause she is afraid of going to hell or something. Just his luck. Oh well, he could deal with it. He shrugged as he understood what she was saying about the whole parents thing. His dad was extremely controlling and always wanted to control him and his younger brothers' lives which had made Austin become quite the rebel and they had fought a lot when he was in junior high but eventually they had come to terms with each other and got along now. When she said she had to leave he nodded and started heading towards the parking lot where his fancy sports car was waiting.
"Yeah me too. Enjoy your safe evening." he replied, with a teasing wink before head strolled towards his car and climbed inside.

It was her second day on the job as she was wearing another dress because the weather in LA was warm and hot and she had swept her hair up in another bun. She had worn her silver bracelets that were engraved with hope, faith, joy and love along with her name on one of them and her birthday in Roman numerals.
She pushed open the door to the gym with her back as she tried to balance coffee trays in her hands. She had been sent on a coffee run and she was afraid she was going to drop and burn her arm because of the coffee. She pushed the elevator button with her finger and she climbed in before exiting and entering the specialized gym. The guys were weight training again as she then called for them. "Coffee and smoothie's are here!" She called as she set the drinks down on the table before hurriedly backing away so they could grab the drinks. They all came in a frenzy and she managed to grab a strawberry smoothie for herself as she sipped it in the corner as she waited for them to stop arguing and bickering over what they wanted.

The next mornng, Austin got to the gym at the same time as usual. He was already changed into his shorts and cut off t shirt that he worked out in and was just finishing his run on the treadmill when his blue eyes caught sight of Noelle entering the gym from the elevator with trays of drinks for the offense in her hands. The defense trained in a different part of the gym because they had a different coach. They had to bulk up a lot more than the offense who needed to be quick on their feet.
Austin clicked off the machine before pulling his head phones out of his ears and draping them around his neck, his ipod strapped to his upper arm. Climbing off the belt he walked over to where the guys had just finished claiming their drinks. One side of his mouth raised into a smile as he reached for one of the smoothies and then backed away from the guys left still deciding.
Taking a drink of the beverage it didn't take him long to finish it off before tossing the cup in the trash can. His eyes glanced over at her as he saw her over in the corner watching the fight over the drinks continue. He strolled casually over to her before crossing his arms over his chest and leaning his shoulder against the wall. His eyes glanced from the offensive pileup near the drinks before turning back to her, a smirk still on his face.
"You learn quick." he commented, nodding towards the guys who were now finally picking their drinks and then heading back to their workouts. She was learning fast. Not many people would have been able to get out of the way before the stampede of football players overtook the small table full of drink trays.

"I try, I've been run over one to many times." She laughed. "Did you sleep well?" She asked him, as all night for her at least she had been thinking about him, non stop and it was awkward to have someone else in her dreams that wasn't her, her parents or her friends. Dreams for her never went away and were continuous as well.
He wasn't shirtless this time which was a tiny disappointment. Her heart had a little drop of lust in it which she thought lust was weird considering she had never been in a relationship at all in her life. Lust, was definitely a complicated feeling for her. When she realized that she had began day dreaming she shook her head and pushed aside the bangs that had fallen out of her face. As she was about to speak the manager came out and called her. "No athlete to personnel talking!" He ordered and Noelle looked away from Austin. She did not want go get him in trouble, especially when hr was doing well this season.

He shrugged to answer her question as he had slept as usual. The rest of the players had gone back to their workouts when the offensive line trainer came out of his office to make sure everyone was doing what they were suppose to. His eyes came to land on Austin and Noelle and he yelled at them to quit talking.
"Ah lighten up, I'll stay late if I have to." Austin called back to the trainer, knowing that the guy wasn't as tough as he made himself seem. He glared at the two of them before turning and heading back towards his office.
"Quit hitting on the help and get back to work Hudson." the trainer called over his shoulder before shutting the office door behind him. Austin turned his gaze from the office door to Noelle, a smile on his face. He shrugged his shoulders before pushing off the wall and walking over to a nearby machine that was next in his workout.

The coach seemed to be in a grouchy mood and Noelle was not pleased. He had yelled for Austin to stop hitting on her? What was that supposed to mean? He had never hit her and so she was confused and just let things go and went back to refilling water bottles and cleaning towels.
At noon the coach came out and handed her a clipboard and she had to record all the weight of the offensive players because althought they had to be quicker they still needed to have a lot of muscle in them. Noelle greeted all of them and ignored their obvious stares and rude comments about her body and how come she was not a cheerleader. One guy tried to smack her butt and she stopped before turning around. "Pure muscle, no steroids involved." She joked as there was silence throughout the gym until she kept asking for names and weight gaining goals and achievements.
Lastly she had to deal with Austin who was working out when she came over, sweating and adding on more weight each time. "Name, weight gain, and goals?" She wanted to tell him hers but instead just pretended she had. "Noelle, ex cheerleader, gymnast. 127 pounds, my goal... To go out on a date with you." Cheesy huh? As she scribbled down his goals as he spoke.

Austin was working on one of the machines that he had scheduled for his workout that day when Noelle came over to him asking him for his name, weight and goals. By now he had his shirt hung on the bar of the machine next to him and was just in a pair of black shorts. He stopped his workout when she spoke and let his arms rest on the bar of the machine he was sitting on at the moment. His light blue eyes looked up at her and a sly grin was on his face as he caught his breath and prepared to answer her questions.
"You don't remember my name? Ouch. Guess I am just another guy to you." he replied, putting on a fake sad frown before letting a smile cross his face once more as he watched her reaction before giving her the information she needed for the chart.
"Austin Colt Hudson, 163 and invite you to hang out and watch a movie at my place tonight." he finished, a broad grin on his face as he waited to see what she would say or do.

He was kind and humorous, two things she really liked in people. When he had made a sad frown she had giggled at his behavior before trying to recollect herself incase anyone saw. She took down his information before she stopped at his goals. She kept her eyes down at the chart and didn't look up for awhile. This was a massive decisions for her to make.
"Noelle Jane McShay, 127 and I would really like that..." She smiled as she had finally looked up at him just staring at him for what seemed to be a long time. God his eyes were blue! "Noelle! What are you doing?" The coach screamed from down the hall which caused Noelle to jump and frantically try to gather up everything and hurry over to him. "Im sorry Dad I was just talking..." Her voice trailing off.
It was quiet in the room when she realized she had blown her cover. It was true, her dad was the coach of the San Diego Chargers and she was completely screwed over now thanks to her mouth. She never grew up like her siblings who were trashy and wore too much makeup. She actually was the opposite of bad she was just good and pure in the soul which made her kind to everyone. "God damnit Noelle when are you going to learn how to listen!" Noelle was mortified and embarassed but she couldn't let her father see her upset. "We should have just sent you to be a nun because all you are really is perfection wrapped in that..." He said gesturing to her body. Was he being insulting? So what if she went to church a lot, or helped out in causes, or went to Africa to read and deliver medicine to the sick. She just wanted to help people is all.
During the midst of her embarassment the coach explained it all. "My daughter everyone, Noelle. We don't hide secrets here in the locker room." He said as he explained why she was there. Noelle could not think of anything more than Austin. When she had caught his eye she mouthed to him that she was sorry. Bye bye date night!
After open gym she locked all the doors and waited outside for Austin. This little beam of hope told her that he may be coming but she felt that he wasn't. But she had talked to some of her church friends who had been in relationships and said that rejection was key in life. Noelle had remembered everything about their date. Roses, gorgeous dresses, theaters, strolling on the beach, football games. She smiled at the thought of princesses and perfection and liked how dates seemed to come out positive most of the time. After waiting for awhile she stood up and locked the main door. "Why did you not want this to work, did I not fufill a duty?" She asked as she looked up at the ceiling expecting to get an answer. Maybe Austin still was here... Was he?

When Austin heard the coach yell at Noelle once more and heard her say sorry dad he froze for a minute, unsure of what to do or say next. Luckily he had time to think about it because she ran over to her father and the two talked for a moment before the coach announced that Noelle was in fact his daughter to the entire offensive line. Austin didn't turn his head to look and instead went back to his workout.
Now what was he suppose to do? If he continued to go after Noelle and things ended badly which had a tendency of happening more often than Austin wanted them to, then his coach would probably be pissed at him and it may cost him a lot of playing time or even his starting position. He could even get traded to another team or not get picked in the next season's draft. And if that happened he could lose a great deal of his salary and things would just go downhill from there.
But football was all he was good at. He didn't have a back up plan. He didn't finish college because he had gone pro early so he had no way of getting a job without having a degree. He shook his head to get rid of the terrible ifs that were clouding his mind and instead put all of his strength into his workout.
When he was finished, he headed into the locker rooms and took a long shower, not getting out until the entire team had left. Finally he dried himself off and got dressed again before packing his bag and slowly making his way out of the locker room. He saw her at the main door and almost turned and went out the back door but changed his mind and continued forward until he had reached the front door.
"Sorry for taking so long. I'll leave so you can get the place locked up." he spoke, his gaze shifting around and not staying on her for very long. He started heading to the front door to leave.

He finally came out of the locker room but then decided he should leave. "Wait Austin, does that mean goals off? Look, my dad... he's no problem. He wont penalize your career because of me. He likes you too much. If anything, I'll be gone first." She grabbed her necklace. "My dad may seem like a pretty harsh guy but seriously, you're our dinner time conversation topic." She laughed as she pulled the door closed.
"But Austin, I completely understand if this whole thing is off. I get it, dont worry..." She said as she put the keys in her bag. "Some other time possibly unless this little pep talk changes your mind." She joked with a laugh as she teasingly punched him in the arm.

Austin smiled a little as he listened to her speak and try and reassure him that her father wouldn't hold him responsible if anything went wrong between them. He kind of felt bad that she would be the one to go before he would. It made him wonder what kind of relationship her and her father had that would make him not like her so much. She did seem like the perfect daughter. . .
"I just can't afford to lose this gig. . . football is all I'm good at." he replied with a shrug as he put his hands in his pockets and glanced away from her.

"Austin, come on... Haven't you ever wanted to do something so bad?" She asked with a pleading tone. She really wanted to spend time with Austin as he may have been the only person she had made a connection with on such an easy level. "One time, and if you don't like it... I'm gone. If we get busted, I'm gone. Deal?" She asked as she outstretched her hand to Austin.
"And who said my dad didn't like me talking to you? He likes you and he likes me, he must like both of us, he just thinks that I might be distracting you during your workout. Me, distracting?" She scoffed in a humorous tone. "Have some good clean fun with a nun!" She cheered at him. She really wanted to lighten his spirits because he seemed very down about them and her dad being added into the equation.

Austin laughed at her joke and thought for a moment before he finally sighed loudly and took her hand. He would give it a try and see what happened. After all, Austin Colt Hudson was not one to back down from a challenge and he had a feeling that this challenge was just getting started.
"Fair enough, let's go." he said as he gestured towards his sports car that was waiting in the parking lot. She did have a good point though. If her dad liked both of them then he wouldn't mind if they were together as long as Austin didn't slack on his workouts which he wouldn't.

He grabbed her hand and Noelle was really surprised but she not complain. He led her to his car. "Wow! That car is amazing!" She said as she walked up to the door slowly and started at herself in the reflection of the door. "I feel like I'm just... Wow." She said as she opened the handle and climbed into the car with it's leather interior. "My parents would kill me if I had a car. I walk around 4 miles to get home." She smiled as she touched the leather, smooth and soft.
"So Mr. Hudson why the NFL?" She asked. She liked stories and learning when things were the way they were. Against the light of the other cars she saw that his wet hair from his shower still clung to his tanned forhead as his cute boyish smile arose but then she snapped out of staring mode.
