Noelle hurriedly followed behind the physical therapist as she scribbled his notes on a notebook to make sure she had not missed anything. As her dainty hand moved across her small notebook she entered the personal training gym and spa. Noelle tucked her pen and in her messenger bag which she re-adjusted the strap as she continued to examine and turn the pages so she could start at the beginning.
As she was walking she bumped into a guy who was wrapped only in a towel. "I'm sorry, excuse me." She said as she apologized quickly and tried not to look at him because fear of embarrassment. Moving past the guy she made her way to the back of the room and went into the office of the therapist and took off her bag as she set it on his chair. "Now Noelle... you have to understand that this is a full male team. There are no female personnel." The manager Robert warned her. "I am aware, Im not really into relationships... males just um... well I just dont have luck with them." She mumbled as she fiddled with the strings that tied her dress on her back.
The manager snickered and nodded his head. "Very well. Well then, I guess that you can begin by getting some new towels for the team. Out, all the way down the gym and to the right and make sure you knock on the door..." As he winked. Noelle rolled her eyes, as she knew that he was making fun of the fact that she was a virgin, never had a first kiss or had ever been in a serious relationship at the age of twenty two. Its not that she didnt want those things to happen. It was the fact that, they... meaning the males were not interested in her.
She walked down the hall and knocked on the door before opening it and seeing two washing machines and three dryers. She picked up the basket of the dirty towels and kneeled down by the washing machine as she put the towels in before closing the door and adding the detergent. Once that was finished she turned to the dryer and pulled out the dry and clean towels, folding them and placing them back in the basket as she used her foot to open the door and enter the gym. All around her the guys were working out and stretching with their personal trainers. She did see a couple of girls in the far corner, flirting with some guy. "Cheerleaders..." She mumbled as she placed the basket on the table as a guy came to grab a towel giving her a wink. She immediately looked away and folded her arms across her chest in uncomfortable feelings. This was definitely going to be a fun challenge.

Austin Colt Hudson's day had started early. He had to hit the gym with the team for a few hours and when he walked into the building and the players that were already there raised there heads and came over to greet him when they saw him. He was a big shot around here. The best wide reciever on the Chargers team. He started every game and definitely knew how good he was.
Colt headed towards the locker room to change into his workout clothes. His big bag was slung over his shoulder and he set it down by the machine he was going to use first so no one would take it while he was changing. As he headed into the locker room he realized he had forgotten his workout clothes in his bag. So wrapping a towel around his waist he headed back out into the gym and grabbed his bag before setting it on the chair of the machine. Opening it up he pulled out his clothes before feeling someone bump into him. He turned his head to see a beautiful blonde girl following behind their head trainer. Curiousity was clear in his light blue eyes as he watched them walk into the trainer's office and then close the door.
Colt just shrugged and headed back into the locker room and got changed. When he was finished changing he headed over to his machine and started pulling the weights that were attached to it. After doing those for a little while he went to a tread mill and ran for thirty minutes. Just as he was stepping off of the treadmill, four of the Chargers cheerleaders came into the gym and stopped him. A smile lit his face as he saw them and he hit on each and every one of them before saying goodbye and heading towards the table that had the towels and the water bottles on it.
As he came towards the table he caught sight of the blonde girl who had bumped into him earlier. A sly grin crossed Colt's face as he headed over to the table and grabbed a towel with the Chargers lightning bolt symbol on it. He also picked up a Gatorade water bottle and tilted his head back as he sprayed the cool water into his mouth. Setting it back down his blue eyes came to rest on the girl once more, a half smile on his face as he wiped himself off with the towel.
"You must be new here, cause I would definitely remember a girl as sexy as you." he said to her, putting his hands on the table that she was standing behind and leaning towards her with a smile on his face.

As she was about to leave for the office again, one of players spoke and she looked up at him before continuing her folding. When he didnt leave she looked back up at him a bit shocked. "Where you talking to me?" She asked as she looked around behind her thinking that maybe he was talking to one of the cheerleaders. To her surprise no one was there. She made a full three-sixty degree rotation to make extra sure that no one was there.
She had never received a type of compliment like that from any male in her life time. "If you were talking to me, then yes, I am new." As she emptied the towel basket. "I am just the assistant though..." As she outstretched her hand to take his wet and sweaty towel from him so she could wash it with the next load.

Austin nodded a bit while a smile was still spread across his face as he handed her his used towel. He watched the girl look around to be sure that he was talking to her before she replied to his question. He chuckled softly before lifting his hands off of the table, though his blue eyes remained on her as she took her in, trying to figure her out.
"Well I'm glad you're not a cheerleader, they get pretty old after awhile." he added as he shifted his weight from one foot to the other. He wasn't sure about this girl. . . She was gorgeous and yet she acted as if she had never had any male's attention. How could it be possible for someone to be so hot and yet not know how to flirt? This was definitely something new for Austin Colt Hudson. But he was always up for a challenge.

She smiled at his compliment that he was glad that she was not a cheerleader, taking the towel from him and tossing it into the basket. "Thank you, that means a lot." As she reached down to the pile and picked up a fresh towel and handed it to him. "I really have to get back to work, but I'll see you around?" She asked as she didnt leave her name into the equation.
She checked the water bottles and placed the empty ones neatly in rows of three by four into the basket so she could refill them as well and have them sterilized. "Have a nice workout." She said with a parting smile and wave as she made her way back into the backroom to the washing machines. As soon as she was in the room safely she squealed with delight, had a boy just talked to her? Called her sexy and complimented that he liked different? She wasnt too sure about the last part but she was glad that she had finally had her first male encounter and she had survived... so she thought.

Austin took the towel she handed him and slung it over his shoulder because he knew he would be needing it later. A crooked smile raised one side of his mouth and he watched her organize the water bottles before speaking once more. He nodded in reply and then watched her disappear into the back room. For a moment he considered going after her to get her name but he stopped himself. And instead he turned and headed towards another machine that would work his abs.
He worked out for awhile longer before heading back into the locker room to shower. When he was clean and dry he got dressed again but left his shirt off, hanging it over his shoulder as he headed out of the locker room once more. His bag was waiting for him by the machine he had last used and he went over to it and put his stuff back inside before getting ready to pick it up. Slinging it over his shoulder he prepared to leave as most of the team was gone by now. But something stopped him. His light blue eyes scanned the rather empty gym in search of the mystery girl that he had talked to earlier. She was definitely a mystery. He couldn't figure her out at all. She was a challenge. A challenge he welcomed with open arms.

"Thank you for such a wonderful experience." Noelle said as she closed the door to the office, speaking into her cellphone that was balanced between her ear and shoulder. "Im locking up right now... yeah. Surely see you tomorrow. Thank you again. Bye." As she managed to yank the door closed and pull the key out, putting it into the pocket of her dress.
As she turned around to walk out she saw 'him' standing there looking casual. She gasped and tried to walk around the perimeter of the gym so he wouldnt see her. She walked quickly yet quietly and shaded her eyes away from him. This whole flirting thing wasnt really her type of thing and she was afraid that she would embarrass herself from doing something ridiculous. As she was rushing past, she stubbed her toe on a twenty pound weight and she bit her tongue as she flinched and tried not to scream.

Austin waved goodbye to the last of the guys as they headed out the door, saying that he would see them tomorrow at practice. When he didn't catch sight of the mysterious blonde girl he shrugged and picked up his bag before heading towards the door. Just as he was about to walk out he saw her trip and almost fall to the ground. She kept her footing though and he let a grin slowly slid across her face as he turned around and leaned his back on the door while crossing his arms over his chest.
"Avoiding someone?" he asked her teasingly as he tilted his head and watched her as she collected herself once more.

As she prayed that he wouldnt see nor hear her he spoke asking her if she was avoiding someone. She froze and looked up with a weak smile. "Did you just uhm... see that?" She asked as she jerked her thumb behind her to signalize a previous event. She sighed, "Im such a klutz." As she turned around to pick up the weight and set it with the others on the lower rack for the easier weights.
She smoothed out her dress as she stood up from crouching down and tucked a loose strand of blonde bang behind her double pierced ears. "So what is your name?" She asked as she readjusted her shoulder bag so it would not dig into her exposed shoulder. "I'm uhm... Noelle." She smiled as she fidgeted with her heart gold necklace that was tight on her neck.

Austin glanced over her shoulder at the area she pointed to before looking back at her and tilting his head a bit. He let a thoughtful expression slide across his face before shaking his head.
"Nope." he replied though he wore a huge grin on his face, showing that he had in fact seen her trip over the weight. He pushed himself away from the door a bit before watching her come towards him a little and introduce herself.
"Well I'm Austin Colt Hudson. The starting wide reciever." He answered as he glanced at the ground casually before letting his light blue eyes look back up at her, the corners of his mouth still curled up into a grin.

He had seen her and Noelle was mortified at what he thought of her now. "Well then Austin Hudson, it's really nice to meet you but I really have to go and lock up." As she pointed to the gym double wooden doors. "So mind leaving?" She asked as she opened the gym door and shut it behind them as she pulled the key out you heard the bolt slide over.
"Dont you usually meet your buddies for a beer, you're going to be late." She asked. The manager had told them about their repeating scheduele and drinking at the bar every night was definitely one. "Ive never had beer... I've only done one rebelious thing in my life." She admitted putting the keys into her pocket as she checked the handle to make sure the door was properly locked.

When she asked him to leave he put his hands up in surrender before heading out the door and holding it open for her to exit as well. When they were both outside she locked the front door and then checked to be sure it was locked before turning back to him and asking him about his friends who were probably at the bar wondering where he was. Usually drinking would be on his mind but not today. Today he had different plans.
He shrugged in reply to her question before turning his head away from her to look off in the distant and then glancing back at her once more as she said she didn't drink beer. A curious and sly grin made it's way across his face as she said there was only one rebellious thing she had done in her life and there was no way he would leave that one alone. After all she had probably said it out loud because she wanted him to ask what it was. Right?
"And what might that have been." he asked as he leaned towards her a little bit like it was a secret that only him and her would know.

He had asked her what the most rebellious thing she had done. "Well I got a tattoo when I was 17..." As she remembered that very night she had gotten it. "How about you? Do you have any tattoos?" She asked as she leaned her back aginst the wall. She really was in no rush so she could stay and chat with him for as long as he needed her.
"I really want another one but... Parents." As she sighed and waited for his response to tattoos. She thought she had seen one but Noelle had pretty poor vision so some things were extremely difficult for her to see. Tattoos being one of them.

When she said that she had a tattoo he raised his eyebrows a bit surprised that this perfect girl next door had gotten a tattoo. He had thought she was going to say she snuck out one night or something but he had to admit getting a tattoo was more daring than sneaking out. When she said her parents were keeping her from getting another tattoo he furrowed his eyebrows and looked at her like he didn't believe her.
"Let me ask you something. How old are you." he answered, crossing his arms over his chest as he waited for her answer. When she asked him if he had any he nodded and shrugged a bit as if him having tattoos was no big deal compared to her having one.
"I've got a few." he said before waiting for her to answer his question.

"Yeah, it just says Mary had a little lamb." She smiled, when he asked her how old she was she stopped smiling. She got this question a lot as if she was babied. She really wasnt, her parents were; and they depended on her a lot and she tried not to do anything to upset them too much. "Embarrassingly enough, I am twenty two. My parents just arent normal..." She said as she stood up from off the wall and took out her keys from her bag as she jingled them in her hand.
"So I've never smoked, never drank, never slept in school, never been late, never broken a bone, and I have never been to a party nor been in any relationship. I just have had other things on my mind that keep me motivated." She looked at the carpeted navy hallway, what an ugly shade. Her cellphone beeped and she transfered her keys to her other hand before checking her cellphone. New text message from Melanie. "I really have to get going sir, I mean Austin. I just have to walk down the street to my apartment and then I will be back tomorrow?" She put her phone back into her bag. "And, if you're not getting a beer there is this great coffee shop down the street its wonderful." As she got excited just thinking of the smell of hazelnut coffee wafting into her nose.
Truth was, Noelle knew how to have fun... without getting intoxicated.
