Aaron stood in front of the full sized mirror, making sure he looked nice. He wore a vest, with thin ecru vertical lines running down, as the rest of the vest was dark gray. Buttons ran down the center, a long with two pockets on either side, near the bottom of the vest, closer to his waist. Underneath the vest was a white button down shirt, with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. A belt was wrapped around his waist, holding up his jeans. They were his nicest jeans, not ratty ones. Aaron walked away from the mirror and put on his Hollister cologne, his favorite. Hollister was a bit young for him, but they had good cologne, and at least it wasn’t Axe. Aaron took a whiff of his pits, and found they smelled delightfully nice. He opened up a Tic-Tac container and placed a oval Tic-Tac in his mouth and crunching it between his teeth. He grabbed a box of chocolates, from a gourmet chocolate shop for Roxi and carried them with him. He crossed his fingers it would all go well. _ _ _ When arrived walked through the glass doors of the restaurant he couldn’t get but feel nervous. His palmed sweated a bit, which was normal for him. Aaron walked to the front desk to check his reservation for him and Roxi. The waitress grabbed some menus from underneath the table and gestured for Aaron to follow her to the table. She set the menus out, and walked away. Aaron sat by himself at the table, with his hands on the table, laced together. His foot tapped gently to the music in the background, as he nervously waited. “I made the right choice,” he kept telling himself and he looked around the restaurant. There were couples surrounding him, along with some elderly woman. He prayed for a second for the date to go well, and took a large gulp. So many emotions were flowing through him, all good though. He smiled as he waited for Roxi to arrive.

Roxi already had her outfit picked out so it didn't take her long to get ready. She wore a tan and black lacy dress that fit her body well and cut off at about mid thigh. Black open toed heels were on her feet and she walked expertly in them as she made her way towards the restaurant. She had on Victoria's Secret Pink perfume and her skin was shimmering because of the body lotion she had put on a little bit ago. Her long dark hair not as curly as normal but instead had polished waves that fell down her back gracefully. Her lips were a glossed pink and she had on a light peach eyeshadow to match her dress.
As she arrived at the restaurant the waitress took her to her table where Aaron was already waiting. A smile lit her face as she saw him and she sat down across from him before picking up the menu. She already had a glass of water in front of her and she took a quick drink from it before raising her light blue eyes to look at him.
"Hey, how are you?" she asked him, putting her hands on top of the menu that sat in front of her.

Aaron’s eyes lit up as Roxi came from behind him, looking gorgeous as ever. ”You look stunning,” he complemented. The dress really did fit her like a glove, and the open back made it sexy. ”It’s great to see you,” he smiled, deciding wither to get up and hug her or not. He debated on not, as it would be a little awkward for him to be covering over her for a hug.
He sipped his water through the plastic straw, stirring the ice cubes around. ”I’m doing great now. How about yourself?” Aaron asked politely. He was very excited to be on a date with Roxi, as it was their first, after all those flings they had.
He searched through the menu, looking at the appetizers first. ”Are you one for seafood?” he asked, seeing shrimp and tuna tar-tar. This place was mostly Japanese food, but Americanized. Like the shrimp was tempura shrimp. Everything on the menu looked good, like the teriyaki steak and sushi. Aaron would either get one or the other; of course.
Next he opened up the wine menu and searched through the drinks. ”Red or white?” he asked, and then looked at the house wine. There was also saki, the warm Japanese wine which had an acquired taste to it.

She smiled when he greeted her and took another sip of her water before opening up her menu and starting to scan through the things that they had to order. She wasn't a very picky eater so she was probably going to get the steak and shrimp so that way she could get a little bit of both. She closed her menu again and looked over at him as he opened up the wine menu.
"I'm doing good. And either is fine with me. I think I am going to have the steak and shrimp." she replied, as she didn't really have a preference. She liked both a lot.
Closing her menu she crossed her arms and looked over at him, a small smile on her face as she saw how animated and happy he was tonight. No doubt because she was letting him take her on a real date. Though she wasn't usually one for relationships mainly because she would get bored with one guy if she stayed with him for too long. But she also didn't become a guy's girlfriend right away either. She could go on multiple dates with him over a span of a couple weeks or even a month or two before she would decide if she wanted to seriously date them or not. But that was her personality. The guy had to be able to keep her interested or she would move on.

”There’s also saki,” he added, talking about the warm, yet sort of sweet Japanese wine. It was usually drunk out of teacups, rather than glasses like most alcoholic beverages. He didn’t care, as long as he was here with Roxi, and nobody else, just her.
Aaron closed his menu as well, and set in on the table, maneuvering it around so it didn’t hit his water glass, nor plate for sauces. He grabbed the napkin off the table and unraveled it, as he watched the chopsticks, fork, and knife come out. He set them nicely by his appetizer plate, chopsticks first, then the fork and knife. Aaron then grabbed the green cloth napkin and placed it in his lap. His hands came back up to the table and were pressed flap against the wood panels.
”I think I will get sushi. The dragon roll, tekka maki, and ebi.” he said with a smile. ”We can share if you want,” he added softly. The waitress came to take their orders, so he told him his order of: tekka maki, the dragon roll, and ebi. They still hadn’t decided on drinks or the appetizer. ”Any ideas for an appetizer?” he asked, trying to figure out their order.

Roxi ordered what she had wanted to eat and shook her head about the appetizer. She knew that her entree would have plenty of food for her. In fact she probably wouldn't be able to eat all of it anyways. She wasn't to picky about things either and was pretty easy going. That was why she wasn't one for commitment. She had a free spirit and didn't like the feeling of being tied down and not being able to do what she wanted but she figured once she found the right person that she really and truly loved then she wouldn't have to worry about feeling tied down because there would be only that one person that she would want to be with.

The waitress left then, to talk. Roxi was being rather quiet this evening, which worried him. ”His something wrong?” he asked, furrowing his eyebrows. It was just so unlike her to be quite, normally she was loud with words or gestures, but tonight neither of those showed. Aaron tugged on his vest, and straightened his back so he wasn’t slouching. When the wine came the waiter poured it for both of them and then resumed them to go back to talking. Aaron spun the wine around in the glass, and then took a big whiff. It was a rich red wine, and tasted good as it poured down this throat.

Roxi shook her head when he asked her if something was wrong. She had been pretty quiet tonight but that was because she was tired from working that day. She had done a promotional photo shoot for a new movie she was getting ready to start filming and it had taken most of the day to get everything and everyone done.
"No, I'm just tired from work." she replied, giving him a small smile. She hoped she wasn't ruining his night by not being as outgoing as usual. When the waitor brought them their wine she took a sip, hoping it would help wake her up a bit more.

”Oh, any cool movies that you’re doing?” he asked. It made since, acting took a lot of work, especially if it was a movie like the Black Swan. That most of been hard training for someone like Natalie Portman, plus the actor had to be emotionally ready for a role like that. Too much work for an award or two and a movie.
Aaron pressed his lips to the wine glass and took another sip of the wine. It was the house wine, and tasted really good. He smiled, as he gazed into Roxi’s irresistible aqua blue eyes.

Roxi smiled and took another drink of her own wine as well.
"The one I am going to be shooting soon is an action and adventure sort of thing with a little bit of romance thrown in." she replied as she crossed her arms and set them on top of the table. Acting was her life and she really did love it but it did take a lot of time and energy to make the finished product.

Aaron nodded, and then spoke. "Well that sounds fun," he said. "So I heard you're with Logan. Sort of..." he trailed off. He had heard that they were going to be an item from one of his buddies. On the other hand he heard that Logan was with the new girl Alex, so he had no idea anymore. He didn't mean to bother her with questions, but he just wanted to know. Aaron was pretty sure that Gossip Girl had written something about it at one point or another. He really cared about Roxi, and he didn't want her to leave him for Logan.

Roxi took another longer drink of her wine and setting it back down as he asked her about Logan. She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion for a moment before tilting her head a bit. She didn't know where he had heard that, sure they had hooked up when they met at the club awhile ago but nothing new had happened since then.
"I'm not with anyone right now." she replied, trailing off a bit. She wasn't sure if he considered him and her dating or a couple or official or anything because she wasn't sure about all of that. So she let her light blue eyes watch his reaction to her words to try and figure out what he considered the two of them to be.

Aaron slowly nodded his head, and sat quietly. It was good that she wasn't with Logan, but did it show she didn't want to be with anyone? He know she wasn't with him, yet. A date isn't a relationship, just a way to get to know one another.
"Makes sense." Aaron stated. He hoped that they would have a bit of a future with Roxi. She was fun and sweet, everything he wanted a girl to be. Her only problem was commitment.

She nodded and took another sip of her wine, unsure what else there was that he wanted to know. She was most definitely not with Logan, they had hooked up but nothing more. She was sort of friends with him but only the type that would say hi and make small talk if they ran into you in public but wouldn't make plans to hang out or anything.

The date was getting dry and bland. Aaron didn’t know what to say or do exactly. Roxi wasn’t even trying to make conversation, and defiantly not acting like herself. Aaron wanted to ask what was on her mind, but decided it would be best if he didn’t. Aaron kept himself busy by sipping his drink, and then was relieved when the food arrived. He began to break apart his chopsticks as the waiter slid it in front of him and he picked up a piece of sushi and placed it in his mouth. It was really good, but a bit spicy.
