Heya guys!
Really quick...
As an admin one of my jobs is to go through our categories and move old threads to the thread folder in archives. This is what I have been noticing when I clear out the threads.
1) Not each post is a paragraph. We do not have a word limit here or any type of that sort but one to three liners is unfair to the others you and roleplaying with as they have no material to work with. Make sure you keep the posts to a paragraph or more.
2) Unclosed threads. It really is a pain for Daisy and I to have to backtrack your thread and read whether or not it is closed or not. Please make sure that if your thread is closed, in big capital letter write, 'THREAD CLOSED' it catches our attention easier and its quicker for us. No one likes clutter.
3) Dead threads. We shouldnt have dead threads. There is no need for dead threads. People should consistently checking each thread they are marked in and should be able to find people to reply too. If you find a thread you participate in or started is dead, message the people in the roleplay and see if they still want to continue the plot and if not, mark it 'DEAD THREAD'.
This comes from overload of characters. We have not to say, 'too many characters' but we have more than each person should and or some people can handle. If you have more characters that Daisy and I feel you can handle, your characters will be rejected or put on layaway where we wait until we have an opening for your characters. It is difficult when you have to balance over 2 characters but we base your ability by how often you are online and if you have the time and capability to be able to switch accounts for different posts.
Another deleting spree is coming up and so if you dont want your character to be deleted than I insist that you should make them active again. Soon I will be posting a thread here that you all can reply to that tells us;
1) Who you want us to delete
2) Why you want them deleted
I cannot guarantee that if we delete a character that you can automatically begin role playing with another character if you have it on hold. It does not work like that. If we allowed that, you would constantly have characters dropping off the face of the Earth never to be seen or heard from again. There is a difference between inactive and retired.
Im sorry I rambled but this really needed to be clarified because the website is on the border of an unruly mess and we dont want that to happen.
Happy Roleplaying!
