Sam arrived at the nail salon with Chloe, as they had driven in the same car on the way there to be more eco-friendly and save gas mileage. She was glad to go with her best friend, read gossip in the latest People and US Weekly, and get their feet cleaned and beautified.
Samantha walked up to the front desk where the lady instantly recognized her, since she came in so often. ”Sah-mantha darling,” she greeted, giving her a kiss on the cheek as she looked her up and down. ”Gorgeous as eva,” she gushed as she smiled. ”What do you want today? Mani? Pedi? Mani and Pedi?” she asked, handing her the list of treatments. ”Hello Sarah. My friend and I, Chloe, are here for a mani-pedi day,” she explained, as she kissed her cheek back. The hostess, Sarah, recognized Chloe from all of her fashion line and walked up to her, kissing her cheeks three times. ”Doll! Big fan,” she said. Sam then picked out a blush color of nail polish for her toes, and navy blue for her nails.
Finally Sarah took them to their chairs, starling the hot water and turning the bubbler on. Sam slid off her shoes, thankful she had worn flip flops, as she sat into the chair and dipped her feet in, then rested them in the water. Sarah handed them both the newest People and US Weekly. She began to flip through the pages as she waited for the lady to start the session.

Chloe smiled as she walked through the doors where they were getting their manicures and pedicures. She examained Sarah and Sam being social with one another. You could tell Sam came here pretty often. Chloe's smile grew when Sarah spoke to Chloe. "Thanks." Chloe said casually. Her legs followed Sam to where they were going to pick out some finger nail polish. Chloe went with the french tip for her nails and a bright cheery red for her toes. She then walked to the chair where she sat next to Sam. She slid off her boots and socks regretting wearing them, then dipped her toes into the hot water. It always burned for a couple of seconds then it would turn into relaxation. Chloe smiled at Sam then was handed the magazine. She flipped through it reading some pages about some people she knew.

It was so peaceful just reading the magazines and gossiping. ”Aw, Reese Witherspoon looks so pretty in her wedding dress,” Sam gushed, showing it to Chloe. It wasn’t white, but blush pink, and she looked drop-dead gorgeous in it. Samantha then flipped through more magazines, and finally the worker came to begin the treatment.
The lady introduced herself as Mary, and then asked Sam to slide her foot out of the water and onto the clean hand, or rather foot, towel. She began to rub off all of the existing nail polish and cut her cuticles. She then put that foot in the water and moved onto the next one, and did the same thing. It was so relaxing, and she seemed to be stressful the last week so this was just the medicine she needed.

Chloe nodded in agreement. "God, that girl is to gorgeous." She confessed with a warm smile on her lips. Her eyes wandered back to her magazine that she had gotten. She listened to the music that played in the background while her toes soaked in the warm water. One the lady came to do their toes and nails she shut the magazine close and put it back in her seat. Chloe followed Sam and Mary to where they would be getting their maniures and pedicures. She wore a soft smile on her lips as she slid into another seat next to Sam again. "Thank goodness for medi's and pedi's." Chloe grinned.

The lady kept massaging Sam’s feet as she scrolled through the magazine and then stopping when she got to the crossword puzzle. She actually liked crossword puzzles, especially ones with celebrities and movies. The music played softly in the background and was very calming and brought the spa ease. ”I know right? I love the color you chose for your toes,” Samantha said, pointing to the bright cherry red polish that was placed beside Chloe.
The worker began to scrub Sammy’s feet, which didn’t tickle at all. The lotion tingled her feet though, because of the sage and herbals that were in it. The lady asked Sam to roll up her jeans, which she did, and then lady massaged her legs.

Chloe relaxed as the person massaged her foot. It felt more then great. Her chocolate brown eyes looked at the magazine flipping through some of the pages that weren't very important to her. A smile morphed on her face as Sam told her she liked the color for her toes. "Aww, thanks. I really liked your colors but, I try not to copy people." Chloe explained with a warm smile on her lips. It always made herself feel better when she got mani's and pedi's. It was even better with a good friend.

Sam nodded to what Chloe was saying about copying. When she was little she hated when people copied her, so she understood where Chloe was coming from. Even as a fashion designer Chloe most be able to copy others and she has to do it first.
The time flew and Sam’s feet were already done being dipped in hot wax, and then her toes were painted and ready to go. Samantha then waddled over to the manicure table and placed her fingers in the water dish and waited for Chloe to take the seat next to her.
