Chance Caine strolled back up the beach with a grin on his face. Wearing a wet suit and carrying a surfboard under his arm he felt like he was king of the beach. But of course he usually felt like that no matter where he was. Unzipping his wet suit he pulled it down so it was just around his waist before heading to the spot where he had left his towel and bag on the beach chair the beach provided. A large umbrella cast shade down onto his spot and he stuck his surfboard into the sand before grabbing his towel and wiping off his face and then running it quickly over his short blonde hair.
Grabbing his black aviator sunglasses, he slipped them on before sitting down on his beach chair and gazing out at all of the beautiful girls that were laying out in the sun tanning. The beach really was a wonderful place to be for a guy. Another grin made it's way across Chance's face as he laid back on his beach chair before putting his hands behind his head and closing his eyes. Man it was good to be in LA right now.
Hot girls and hot parties were all he really needed to survive. And speaking of parties, his beach party was gonna be the hottest party of the year. But the parties he threw always were off the hook and no one ever complained. Living in a massive beach mansion with it's own private cove had major advantages. And now he just had to invite as many hotties as he could so that way he had plenty of options when it came to party night. Plus he hadn't had a fling in awhile and he was needing some lovin'.

Amina sighed and pushed herself off the couch before heading towards her front deck. She paused as she reached the door and looked through it at all the people on the beach. She preferred being able to look out on all the people rather than look out and see an empty private beach. She smiled and slid the door open and then walked out towards the wooden railing where she leaned against it and smirked at all the people who passed by her. She was wearing a pair of too-short-for-their-own-good shorts and a purple rouched halter top.
She crossed her arms and rested them on the railing as she searched for a friendly face. Just then she caught site of her friend Chance. They had been friends for what seemed like forever, but that seemed to be changing now. She tried to ignore the queasy feeling in her stomach and put on her biggest smile. "Hey Chance!" she called out to him, leaning over the railing so far she almost fell down onto the sand.
She studied him laying under an umbrella and shook her head with a small laugh. He was definitely looking good lately and she couldn't wait for his beach party which was coming up soon. She could feel something was going to happen but she didn't know what.
With a smile, she pulled herself up onto the railing and over it onto the sand. She slowly walked towards his beach chair and got down on her knees next to him. "Dude, wake up," she shouted into his ear with a smirk.[/size]

The girl looked around, seeing a game of beach volley ball being set up, and a dog walker past by. She sighed, as the aroma of fish filled her nostrils. She took a deep breath and kept walking to the other end of the beach. She combed her fingers through her auburn hair and ash began to braid it all. She quickly undid the braid and let it be a mess; she was at the beach and all. Kat saw Chance and Amina nearby and called to them. “AMINA! CHANCE!” she shouted, awakening some people on the beach. She began to jog toward them, waving franticly. “Dudes!” she called once more. When she finally reached them, out of breath from running through the sand, (a difficult task,) she put her arm on Amina’s shoulder and let out a grin. “What’s up?” she asked, seeing Chance in a wetsuit. Kat herself was dressed in an African-inspired printed romper and held tan gladiator sandals in her left hand. She sat down, sinking into the warm sand, next to Amina. She noticed Chance was sleeping, and decided to let her wake him up. She wouldn’t be the one to ruin beauty sleep. Kat opened up her leather, torn up, coffee stained messenger bag and pulled out her tortoise shell sunglasses on the bridge of her nose and slid them closer to her eyes. She was happy she found some of her newer friends at the beach.

A pair of deep blue eyes wandered the beach. Today couldn't be a much more perfect to spend the day at the beach. It was sunny with just a slight breeze. All Skye wanted to do today was meet new people, relax, and soak up the california sun. Her thin legs moved slowly across the wet sand. Skye scanned out by the water. She was watching the tides that were coming at her but only touched her toes. Goose bumps shot up and down her body. It wasn't because she was cold but was inspired by the ocean. It might have seem weird but, it was very much true. Whenever Skye was at the beach she felt at peace with herself and the world. She really just wanted to embrace something she desprately craved and that was just relax and have a good time.
Skye's long brown and blonde hair was in a messy bun. She wore a baby blue bikini. Her rose tattoo on her shoulder was showing. Only a blind man couldn't see it. Her 0 black gagues were in her ears as normal. They looked like Maci's off of Teen Mom. She also had another tattop stars going up her foot in black ink. Skye wasn't wearing her nose ring today though. She thought she would take it out for a while and put it back in later. Another piercing Skye had was her belly button. Diamond Stars hung down from her piercing. Skye only wore a little make-up today as well. She knew she'd probably mess it up anyways. So, whats the point of wearing alot of it? Skye looked alot different then usual. It might have been because she had a more natural look today. Whatever it was, it was something she should do more often.
Skye's left hand grabbed onto the worn out Old Navy flip flops tightly so they wouldn't get washed up into the tide. At a decent pace she kept walking along the side of the beach. She saw a couple of fimilar faces. But some she didn't recognized. Skye smiled as she scurried over to them. "Kat!" She shouted not to far from them. "Hey. What's-" She paused noticing the sleeping guy. "Who's that?" Skye silently said while pointing at the man. She knew who he was but wanted to be sure. She just really couldn't belive it was him. Skye wore a poliet grin on her face as she sat down next to the group. She waved at the other girl who was also there, "Hi."

Kat looked up and her brown eyes met Skye’s. “Hey!” she greeted and she was crouched down by Chance, who was still sleeping. “Chance is sleeping,” she grumbled. “Oh, and this is Amina,” she said eyeing Amina. Kat felt the sun on her like a spotlight, causing her to break a sweat. The redhead slowly stood up and stretched her legs. “What brought you to the beach?” she asked with a chuckle.
She dunked her head down, combing all her hair together with her fingers and put it in a high bun, showing all her lowlights. She slowly cracked all her knuckles and grinned from ear to ear. She loved hearing the sound of each finger crack, especially her thumbs, the hardest to crack.
Kat looked up; her chocolate brown eyes searched around the beach, seeing that the beach volleyball game finally started. “All I want to do is swim!” she said in a bubbly tone. It was too hot outside, and a brief swim would cool her down, and she had her bikini on underneath her romper.

Chance opened his light blue eyes as he heard his name and immediately knew that it was Amina by the sound of her voice. His dark sunglasses made it hard to see his eyes though and he waited until she was next to him before sitting up and looking over at her, his sunglasses still on. A smile was on his face as he recognized his childhood friend.
"Hey darlin', what's up?" he greeted her, his wet suit still pulled down around his waist. Water droplets shone on his abs and chest as he sat up, still wet from surfing a moment ago. Him and Amina's parents had been friends since they were both in business and the two had become very close friends when they were little because they would always have play dates and stuff together. But Chance had moved to Hollywood for awhile since all he had left was his dad and his dad was always out of town or something. Just recently he had moved back into his dad's huge beach house mansion that was located on a private cove.
He was going to be throwing a party at his house this weekend and though it was still a week away, the buzz had already started spreading about it and he was sure it was gonna be pretty awesome. Turning his head he caught sight of two other girls talking near them. He turned back to Amina though because he didn't want to interrupt.
Stretching his arms above his head for a moment, he moved his legs so they were in the sand on the side of the beach chair near Amina, a flirty grin still on his face. This was the first time he had seen her since he had moved back to LA and she was definitely looking good. In fact a lot of the girls in LA were looking good but that was probably also due to the fact that he had seen pretty much the same girls in Hollywood. It was definitely a refreshing change of scenery.

Kat giggled as she saw him wake up. He had a bit of dried drool around his lips, which caused her to laugh even more. "Morning sunshine!" she tried to say with a straight face, which didn't work too well. She noticed he was talking an interests, or rather talking to Amina a lot. She caught a glimps of the conversation, hearing that they were childhood friends. Makes more since, she thought.
Chance had a toned, or muscular body, which would be a turn on for most girls, who were straight. Kat leaned toward the females, but had an interest in males as well. Kat looked over to Amina, seeing she was focused on something else, as she didn't reply to Chance.
"That's Chance," whispered Kat to Skye. Kat liked Skye, she pushed boundries, which scared Kat at points. Sure Kat pushed some buttons, but not as much as Skye, in Kat's perspective.

"Hey Amina. I'm Skye." She said with a greeting smile. Skye then turned to Kat, "I guess I just wanted to get out of the house. I really need to get a tan going. I have a couple of auditions coming up." Skye said with a slight grin. "I'll go swimming with you here soon, if you don't want to go alone." She suggested.
Skye didn't want to say anything to Chance. She was a bit to nervous. He was famous and all. Mean while Skye was just a girl making her way to becoming famous. She was an amazing singer. Skye also knew how to play the piano and the guitar. She doesn't seem to mention this to alot of people. She just doesn't want to be doubted, thats all. Maybe one of these days she'd be one of them. But, for now she wasn't much of anything. Just Skye.
Skye turned her attention to her surroundings. It felt like the tempature had risen a couple of degrees. She forgot her sunglasses, her blue eyes began to burn a bit from the bright sun. She squinted her eyes and covered the top of them with her hand. That way it blocked the sun and provided some shade. Skye looked at her feet too. They were coming to a burning point. She moved them a bit. Skye still wore a small smile on her face as she studied their small gathering.

Amina grinned and rolled her eyes. He was still the same old Chance. She moved back a bit and dug her toes into the sand. Man, she loved the beach. She quickly did a once over of his body and then looked back up to his face. After a minute she reached over and grabbed his sunglasses off his face before moving them to her head. "How can I talk to you if I can't see your eyes?" she asked him in her most innocent voice. The facade was soon broken when a smirk rose onto her face.
She tapped her chin for a moment and then shrugged. "Oh, nothing really. Just doing the same old thing every day," she replied and then paused before continuing, "And what about you? There's gotta be something exciting happening in the life of the Famous Chance Caine!" She threw her arms up in the air for emphasis when she heard her name being called. Once she looked up, she caught site of one of her good friends, Kat. She gave a small wave to the girl and then turned back to Chance. "So, the word around the block is that your going to be having a party this weekend," she said raising her eyebrows a bit. If something had the word party in it, she was there. and since this was probably going to be one of the biggest parties of the year, she was even more excited.
She then saw another girl arrive and simply nodded her head in reply to the girl's greeting. She hadn't seen Chance in what felt like forever and there was no way that she was going to just ignore him after seeing him for the first time in years. She pulled a stray hair behind her ear and smiled as he shifted his position on the beach chair.

When his dark aviators were pulled off of his face and placed on her head he almost protested but instead gave her a sly look before letting her keep his sunglasses. And her innocent reply was enough to make him smile once more as he leaned towards her a bit. Nodding as she told him what she had been up to he shrugged when she asked him what was new in his life.
"Nothing much, just got done shooting my new movie and I'm back home for a break before I have to do publicity photo shoots and stuff for the opening of the movie. The usual." he replied, shrugging as if it was no big deal because for him it really wasn't a big deal.
At the mention of his big beach party this weekend a new grin crossed his face and his light blue eyes shone in the bright sunlight as he glanced down at the sand before looking back up at her.
"Oh yeah, it's gonna be epic. You better be there or there won't be a party." he answered, giving her a flirtatious wink as he finished speaking. It was definitely nice to get to see Amina again and he was glad that they would have time to catch up. It seemed like he had never left, like things were right back to normal again.

Amina raised an eyebrow and challenged him to take his aviators back. She smiled triumphantly when all he did was lean closer to her. She pulled them down onto her face and was surprised when suddenly, everything got dark. "How do you see out these things?" she mumbled to herself as she pulled them back up onto her head.
She nodded and shook her head a bit in disbelief. "Do I get a sneak preview of that movie?" she asked him in her sweetest voice while batting her eyelashes. It was definitely going to be hard getting used to the idea that her childhood friend was an actor now. But, did that mean he wouldn't have time for her anymore? She hadn't thought about that fact before. She decided that he wasn't the type of person to do that and completely shook the thought from her head.
She bit her lip and raised an eyebrow. "Is that so? Well then I guess I have to come, now don't I?" She acted as if she hadn't seen his wink and continued on. "We really need to find some time to just hang out like we used to." She rested her elbows on the edge of his beach chair and cocked her head.

Chance grinned when she tried on his sunglasses and then complained because she couldn't see through them very well and pulled them back up onto her head. When she asked for a sneak peek at the movie he looked thoughtful for a moment as if he was trying to decide if he could manage that or not.
"I'll tell you what I can do. I can get you invited to the premiere but there is one catch, you will have to have a date. But lucky for you, I don't have a date so I mean, if you're interested. . ." he answered, leaning back shrugging. He raised his eyebrows and had a innocent look on his face before it was replaced by another smile and he leaned back towards her again.
"As far as the party goes you definitely need to come. And darlin' I am avaliable all this week. I was sure to make no plans besides the party this weekend. So consider me to be at your beckon call." he added, spreading his arms as if offering himself up to her, which he was.
It was weird to think that they had been best friends when they were younger and then he had moved away for awhile and they had grown up and now he was seeing her in a whole new light. She knew almost all there was to know about him, except for the recent stuff, and he knew a lot about her. It just felt right and he couldn't help but be drawn to her in a way that other girls couldn't.

Amina took the sunglasses off and tossed them back to him. "Here, you can have these things back. They're bugging me," she whined.
She waited excitedly for his reply. But when she heard what he said next she tapped her chin. "I don't know... that's a big price to pay for going to the premiere of your movie. But I guess I can deal with it," she replied with a small smile. "And I-- wait, how could you not have a date?" she asked him scrunching up her nose. She had just assumed that him being a big star and all, he would automatically have a girl for him at each of his events.
"Well then, I'll be there. Nothing will keep me from that party. That's good to know, we have a lot to catch up on." She sighed and smiled. It was good to have Chance back, even if he was going to be busy doing things for publicity.
She still couldn't believe how long it had been. But now, seeing him, she felt different. Now they were grown up and she couldn't help but think of him in a different way than before. He wasn't the same boy that she always thought had cooties. He was older now, and so was she.

Kat nodded to Skye and spoke, deciding not to intrude on the other conversation. "I want to beat the heat, I'm going to swim!" to announced. Kat didn't peticulary care at the moment whta peopple thought of her and she unbuttoned her romper and slowly slid off the straps. Then Kat slipped the whole romper off her olive skinned body and wore her bandeau bikini, with halter straps. The bikini had a fun orange-based print on it, and fitted Kat nicely.
"Ready?" Kat asked Skye and she picked up her messenger bag. The sand tickled her toes and burned them as she stood waiting for Skye. A drop of sweat rand down Kat's cheek as she quickly wiped it off with her index finger. She quickly undid her bun and let her hair do whatever it wished.

Skye nodded in agreement. "Yeah." She replied with a slight smile. Skye looked at the ocean her hands cupping over her eyes. Her tan long thing legs moved at a decent pace toward the cool water. While walking she un-did her messy bun. Skye combed her long blonde and brown hair with her long fingers.
Today, was a good day. She got to spent it with Kat, a good friend of hers. And today, their friendship would probably grow a bit. Skye was happy she wasn't cooped up in her small apartment. Instead, she was out in the warm California sun and was about to take a dip in the salty cool ocean water. Skye put a grin on her face as she was approaching the beautiful ocean.
